Option 4: M

So I might be starting a new job soon and I'd like to be out as nb and for my social title at work to reflect my actual gender.
Suprisingly I've come across more options than the common Mx. I think I'm close to making a decision but would like others insight/opinions.
Mx- I'm most unsure of this one as 'mix' sounds close to the female social title when said aloud.
M- sounds too closely connected to male.
Ind- short for individual. I quite like this one but Individual *surname* sounds a tad pretentious. But maybe I don't mind that :D.
Per- I most like. Short for person. And as I'm agender seems the best fit out of all of them. Decided to spell it 'per' instead of 'pr' as the latter is short for pastor and don't want that connotation. Again might sound strange with my surname.
Thanks :)
I go with Mx. because it's by far the most common. It's also the most intuitive to an English speaker, IMO. The fewer people you have to explain stuff to, the better. It wears on you.
Per is a somewhat common first name in some countries (I personally know three, and I'm just in the US.) That could potentially lead people to read it as your name instead of your title. And the French use M. for monsieur, so that's also a potential source of confusion.
