Title: Another Chett Girl
Post by: ssneha23 on February 04, 2017, 02:05:10 AM
I just thought, I'd start a mini-blog of my final leg in the long transition journey.  My surgery is scheduled for Feb-8. My countdowns have now changed from years to months to days to now hours. I am super excited and nervous at the same time, if that's even possible. Anyways, I checked-in to the Dusit today and have my first meeting with Dr. Chett scheduled for tomorrow. Will keep posting updates as things progress.

Ciao for now .. :)

@Jerrica - Nice to meet you girl - hope the starvation period is coming along well :)

Talking about the 3 day starvation that Chett put everyone through before GCS, it reminds of being an Indian bride on the day of her marriage. For most people who don't know Indian weddings are loooong, they last about a day and half where both the groom and bride get little if any sleep. In addition to the lack of sleep, the bride is required to fast on the day of marriage. I feel like a bride, super excited about my upcoming new life but marred by the frustration of being hungry and want the day which should be memorable to be over soon.

so back to the regular blog -

Day -2: Picked up by Chett's driver to get my second therapist letter (I only had one). He sent one of his staff members to help. The hospital is an hour away from Dusit. The actual interview for getting the letter was pretty straight forward. The questions included:

1) Why have you come to Thailand?
2) Which doctor is going to conduct the procedure?
3) How long have you been living full-time?
4) How long have you been taking hormones?
5) Do your parents / significant other know that you are here for surgery?
6) Do you have your second therapist letter? Can I see it?

That's about it the interview took about 10 minutes and the Doctor then said she would give me the letter.

As for the rest of day, my starvation continued - I took my enema on time (it tingled) hehe ... had my tablets, spent hours on the unspeakable place and was of to bed pretty early.

Starvation going great I'm tempted to just keep doing it. It is so much easier to diet when you're not allowed to eat at all.

I like your bridal tradition with it like the rest it is like a set of trials for us to pass. Soon it will be done and we will have received our rewards.

Loving how well the system works here. Very straightforward unlike UK which is sloooooow.

So excited for you and I'm glad for me too as I get the chance to see another member if Susan's.

Hope your time passes without too much discomfort and that your healing is swift.

Hi Jerrica, thanks for your wishes, appreciate it girl :) .. same to you - hope you have a fast recovery too.

A quick question - I find it strange that Dr. Chett expects that I will be back in the hotel on Feb-12, 4 days after my surgery. Am just finding this strange, isn't this a little too early? I thought, Dr. Chett usually keeps patients for about 7 days post surgery.

I'm in for 4 days too.

I'll be back in the hotel on Monday the 13th.

Wow tomorrow for you. I'm so excited. Just in case I miss your post before surgery I wishing you all the best.

I know I keep posting on your thread and I should probably stop but if you like I can visit on Thursday once my dressing is off or breakfast on Friday.

As always no pressure I'm just at a loose end.

Think I'll see if I can find a pool table somewhere they keep me busy for hours.

You're a sweetheart Jerrica. My packing comes off tomorrow too. The only reason I haven't posted is that the last two days were really bad for me.  Not a good idea to mix lipo with srs. I had gone severally anemic.  After some  amazing meds and a visit by Dr. Chet am finally feeling really good.. I can finally walk sit, and am fully energetic.. yay!!! Am here until March 4. Will definitely make it a point to meet before then... you go girl.. hugs hugs..

Hey hon I was starting to worry I had gone all Stalker chick on you ;)

Oh I was so close to asking about getting lipo at the same time but I decided I'd heal then try run it off instead. If you don't mind me asking how much extra was it? (Can't help it I'm curious about whether I should have).

So sorry to hear of your troubles happier by far that you are all better.

So far I've been ridiculously lucky I can walk and everything with literally zero pain (I'm starting to wonder if no pain is somehow bad) but was reminded I shouldn't be walking so I've restricted myself to breakfast which I'm hoping is ok as I am very careful but still walk naturally.

Totally jealous you get your stuff off a day earlier. Makes sense ofc but still jealous lol

I'm dying to get some air around my new genitals. If I poke about with my mind I can find my eurethra and a few stitches but be so much easier when I can see.

Fortunately I got some company today from lovely girl called X (sorry shielding names) who was gracious enough to drop in and hang out for a while.

Also got to meet the girl from day 1. Nice girl but slow healing poor soul.

Hopefully see more of both as time goes on and not forgetting your good self once of course once I get rid of this dressing.

Looking forward to seeing anything else you post. It's fun making your own story happen and every one is unique I love it.

Hi Girl, the lipo cost me 135k baht. I got abdomen, love handles, thighs and underarms. Dr chet work is amazing, already seeing results. Love handles have vanished and thighs have been cut to half. Dr.  Chet said he removed about 6 pounds of fat.  Totally worth it,  but it's taking a long time to heal with the srs.

How long are you here in Bangkok ? My mum and I were b hoping we could meet over lunch or something once I am allowed to leave the hotel after Feb 27.

135k defo out of this year's budget but think I'll keep it in mind. Also big gratz on the lipo can't wait to see.

I'm here until the 5th but I'm trying to be good for the next 2 days until the dressing comes off.

After that I'm hoping for rapid progress unless no pain and ability to walk turn out to be bad signs.

My healing seems to be even faster in Thailand maybe it's the heat or the natural surroundings but something defo amping my mojo.

Being cosmetic should help speed things along too.

By Feb 27th everything except exceptional movements should be on the cards so lunch shouldn't be a problem unless I get the urge to cartwheel.

And I'm typing forever again. At least for lunch I shut up when I eat ;)

As soon as I'm cleared for fun I'll let you know.

There's still a lot of fun for me to have before I go home.

Hi Jerrica, looking forward to the day we can meet. A quick question, you keep referring to your srs as cosmetic, just curious to understand the difference between what you got and the regular srs. I completely understand if you don't want to answer the question and am so sorry to ask if it's too personal.

Not at all everything the same except no vaginal canal so no piv (penis in vagina) sex or dilation.

It should also heal faster too, less complications etc which is ok if not wanting to be penetrated vaginally.

I'll still be able to masturbate and get off if I choose but it pretty much takes guys off the table permanently.

Dilation forever was just a deal breaker for me so I picked cosmetic.

Thanks for clarifying girl appreciate it  :).

Now to some personal news - packing is off.. and the official number is 6.25".. yay.. I guess that's awesome. Amazing sensation, but everything is so swollen down there. Looks like the head of a volcano hehe.. am sure the looks will improve.. keeping my fingers crossed.

Swelling from lipo is still killing me :(... nurses expect pain from that to come down in another week. It's continuous bed rest and dilation until then... on another super bright side, energy levels are coming back up., am able to move around and don't have to sleep as much.

Finally started playing FF15 on my ps4, super engrossing storyline for a game

Fantasy news honey 6.25" great.

Also my kinda gal I almost took an xbox one and FF15 but I ran out of time to buy them before leaving lol

Swelling will defo sort itself out and yay you.

The lipo sounds sore but I'm sure it will settle soon and let you back to doing everything that you want to.

Hey Girl, sorry for the late reply.  Haven't been following the thread as much.  Yep swelling is coming down, but there is this constant pain. I initially thought the pain was due to the Cath.  But got that out today with pain only coming down a notch.  Otherwise, I feel I am recovering fine, just wish the pain would go away.

As for my liposuction, swelling and pain have significantly reduced.  Pain is at 0 unless I bump the areas or put pressure on it. Also super excited, as results are startng to become evident yay!!!!

How about you girl, how are you keeping up?
