So when my dad gets angry he says hilarious things. xD He's quite a character.
*My mom takes a steak out of the freezer and puts it on the counter to defrost. She forgets about it and my dad finds it like seven hours later*
"You can't just take meat out of the freezer, not use it, and let it sit out for seven hours! THAT'S HOW YOU GET E. COLI!"
*in reference to how I have my work on Facebook set to say "Sells propane and propane accessories at Strickland Propane", referencing King of The Hill as a joke. My dad doesn't get the reference, even though he's seen King of the Hill.*
"And that thing on your Facebook profile that says you work at some propane store! PEOPLE THINK YOU'RE AN ARSONIST!"

Most of what my father says when he's angry can't be posted here, because while it's funny, it's incredibly obscene. He runs out of common swear words and starts stringing them together into some of the most fascinating and entertaining phrases I've ever heard in my life.
My mom? She rarely ever loses her cool...not much to talk about there.
My mom and my brother were having a shouting match in the middle of the street. She got really exasperated with him and shouted, "you son of a b***h!" She paused a second and in a quiet voice said, "of course, you know I didn't mean that."
That's the thing with me that I will get irritated with my brother and respond and then add that extra phase to the end. I wish I had something funny to say that my parents said, but I don't recall anything that was.

My dad stopped throwing that one at me after my mother finally overheard it.
Dad: You son of a b----!!!
Mom: Dear...what, praytell, did you just call me?
Dad: I didn't -
Mom: Well he's my son. Is that what you think of me?
Dad: I - um - gonna go back to the computer now...
My mom told my siblings and I about a funny story from a time when we were all very little.
Apparently there was this night she spent slaving away on a candy gingerbread house for a Unitarian church celebration,she lost sleep, patience and a little sanity working on it lol.
So when morning comes and she's about to bring the candy house to the church, she found that our cat jumped on the counter and was munching away on it; the house was destroyed. Deep in the throes of sleep dep, her period and depleted patience she screamed, "MY LIFE IS A DOG! RUFF RUFF!"
She knew she had no clue what she meant lol
My Dad had some major rage issues, like he'd started shaking and got really red in the face all the time. Then he would start stuttering and yell I'm so fustrated. Not frustrated, but fustrated. It was so hard to take him serious when he got mad. It was so cute. :)

Dad rarely got mad though he'd swear like a sailor who trapped his fingers in the door.
Mum told him she wasn't having him coming home drunk at 3 in the morning so he asked who was she having coming home drunk at 3 in the morning. He tested her sense of humour a lot!
OMG! I recall an incident in which my late stepfather accused my mother of having another man in her life. He was very jealous, and accused her of cheating all the time. After about 3 hours of giving her the 3rd degree, and her denying it, he finally said the other man in her life is Jesus.
