Thinking of starting a club for transgender chess players on Chess.com. I'm just not sure how many of us play chess...
wow its been years, not sure I can play it competitively but finally joining the chess club sounds fun lol (I mean it I'll check it out as long as its not overly competitive)
I've been playing casually since 8th grade. I'm good enough to beat most other casual players, but I consistently lose to everyone that takes it seriously (tournament players, professionals, people who read chess books, etc.). I'd be up for it.
I play it a bit but not many other people I know do. I can beat my housemate at it every time, but the computer always kicks my arse. Maybe because I usually approach a chess game a bit like poker with another person, and attempt to bluff them while I'm playing the game.
I'm very rusty, I studied chess and played a few USCF tournaments back in the '80s. I'm curious mostly where the game has gone since deep blue beat Kasparov in '97.
p.s. Janine, yes I'd participate in a club
I absolutely love chess! I'm by no means a champion chess player, but I love to play.
