Just curious if others like me have dysphoria over the size of your feet.. I am 5'9" tall which isn't to bad... there are plenty of woman 5'9" or taller so that doesn't bother me at all what really bugs me is my feet I wear a us11 to 12 in men's depending on if it's boots or gym shoes etc.. so I would be a size 13 or 14 in shoes... which is huge and hard to find even on the internet.. I'd like some feed back from those of you who have transitioned with big feet.. is it something you find people notice easily is it something that causes you to get clocked a lot??
Thank goodness, no! I'm an inch taller than you, nut I only wear a US women's size 10. It's just barely comfortably within common sizes. In fact, Randi and I wear the same size excepting that she wears a wide width.
Mine aren't really big in the grand scheme of things, but they're larger than most women's. I wear an 11 womens most of the time and can sometimes slide into a 10.5 womens. It makes it almost impossible to find shoes at stores, but it's not too bad looking online. Of course I can rarely get the pretty styles. Most of the ones in my size look like they were issued by the army. My mother-in-law wears the same size as me though, so it's not as awful as I thought.
Size 8 1/2 - 9 in women's depending on the brand and style . In heels I tend to go with an 8 1/2 but in all other shoes a 9 .
I am only 5'7", so I tend to slip under the radar most of the time before anyone gets a good look at my feet. Even though my feet are large, they do not look that large If I choose my shoes carefully. I am a men's size 10, and I am 11 or 11.5 in women's shoes depending on manufacturer. And yes finding shoes is a little tough. I order a lot of them online. Nordstrom Rack is one good place to find quality women's shoes in large sizes.
I'm a men's size 10. They're basically canoes, I hate them
I wear about 10.5 in men's shoes. The only thing that bothers me is that I have yet to find a pair of women's shoes that don't crush my feet width-wise. I'm very skinny but I guess I have wide feet. I don't seem to have any problems with men's shoes but if I wear women's shoes for more than 15 minutes I'll have to amputate my feet.
8.5 to 9 men depending on the brand of women show 10-11 women
I wear a mens size 11 and usually a ladies size 12 or 12.5 fit in a wide I have found that payless shoes has a not too bad selection with some styles up to size 13 I have also found that @ to 3 inch heels help make your feet appear smaller I am 5' 9'' so i wouldnt want to go any higher than that
bobbisue :)
I wear a 13.5-14 men's size so women's would probably be like 15.5-16. obviously there are no shoes this large in the local marketplace
I wear women's size 11. I can find them easily enough, and they fit well too. I always had problems with men's shoes, as I have a typical feminine foot ... narrow heels. It's funny when I have to educate someone that sells shoes, and recommends men's shoes, since they don't fit correctly without heel cups.
I am size 41 European, which is basically still ok, most stores have 60-80% of their models in that size still, size 42 would be a bit problematic as they usually only have 30-50% of the styles in that size - 43 or more means buying at special stores... Sadly though I seem to have wide feet, which makes it ok to buy sports shoes, sneakers, boots and sandals, but fancy shoes like flats, high heels etc are not good - They are the right length but not wide enough. Plus my right foot is 1/2 size bigger than my left, making it even harder.
My shoe size is 5.5-6 so I guess i'm quite lucky ???

I have the same issues as you, most fancy shoes are the right length but not wide enough, and I too have one foot a half-size bigger than the other.
I can only talk in UK shoe sizes, but I used to wear men's size 7 to 8.
Once I had been on hrt for a while, and had been post-op for a few years, to my surprise I found that my feet had got smaller.
So I often can wear a women's size 6 or 7. But this is very style-dependant.
My main problem is that I have very wide feet indeed. EEEE width :(
So I usually end up buying shoes for older ladies, with comfy wide fitting shoe styles and types. Evans do a good range in wider shoes, and the Footglove range in Marks and Spencer's usually work well for me. I usually go shoe shopping with my Mom, as we have similar shoe style tastes
But those cool trendy young fashionable shoe shops and styles? Nope! Forget it, they fit length-wise, but never width wise. My wardrobe is full of shoes I've bought out of sheer bloody-mindedness of wanting them, only to suffer one agonising evening in them before putting them at the back of the closet :'(
I could be a total shoe-aholic, if only I had nice narrow feminine feet!

I'm actually so jealous of you. You always look so cute and you have small feet and then I look like Shrek
I'm 5'9 and wear a women's size 10/11. The reality is my feet are too short for 11 but too wide for a 10 so I end up with 10.5 or 10W or most likely 11s with straps (mary janes, etc).
Doesn't bother me too much, I got used to it.
I'm 6'2" and woman's 11. No problem finding shoes and the feet are in proportion. DSW, Nine West outlet, Coach outlet are all great. Macy's is hit and miss. Anne Klein doesn't fit (to small), Michael Kores doesn't make size 11. Penny's doesn't carry 11.
DSW on line caries up to 13....
Hugs
Jen
I am 5'8" tall and nominally wear a women's size 11 in a pump, which is so frustrating since so many cute shoes are only available off the shelf up to size 10. I can wear a 10 1/2, sometimes a 10 in an open-toe or sling back. So, I mostly shop DSW or Nine West like Jen, although Nordstrom Rack can also be good.

size 9 - 9.5 in women's, no bothers ^_^
I've got no problems with shoe size; I'm 5'6" and wear about a size 9. However, I'm so picky about my shoes that it's not worth my time to try and buy them in a store, because most stores don't have shoes that I like. I even have a tough time finding shoes I like on the internet for less than $100
Hi
I am 5'7" tall used to be 1/2 inch taler, but HRT seems to have shrunk me, although I suspect it may be that I have had pelvic shift with my new rounded buttocks (i have added 2.5" to their size). Anyway I used to take a 42 in mens size, but now take a 41 in women's shoes, but I have wide insteps so I am always looking for the wide fittings. Not so good for boots as Cindy & I found when looking for some in Adelaide!

Thankyou! But don't say that! We are all different but we will reach our goal eventually, i'm sure you are beautiful and look nothing like Shrek! <3
I was 6' with size 12 men's for years. I lost 38 lbs and shrunk in all dimensions. I'm now 5'11 with size 11 men's. Maybe im lucky, but I fit into size 12 women's. Without usually needing wide. It goes without saying that I wish I was shorter with smaller feet!
Payless, Nordstrom rack are great. Online, 6pm.com have larger sizes in pretty styles. Nine West makes up to a 12.
In the end, we are all shapes and sizes both for trans and cis. Need to love yourself no matter what.

Thinking about this, there are more and more females with larger feet then in the past. I know several woman who wear over size 9 shoes. I can understand the wish for an average size women's shoe and with that one might consider looking a shoes that make the appearance of their feet smaller then they are and with that this is what I do even though by the average size foot size is under size 9 I am at size 9 but purchase shoes that make me look like one to two sizes smaller than they actually are.
So it seems I am one of the few with freakishly large feet for my height.. hopefully I lose a little size in my feet with hrt.. at least my wife said I have nice looking feet for a guy. So that helps a little I guess I will have to work extra hard and be gorgeous everywhere else and that will take the focus of my feet.. maybe people will be like wow she is stunning but her feet are huge I guess everybody has to have at least one flaw.. lol I can only wish
I have size 42 (european size) and i am okay with that however wish that it was a bit smaller.
From what is see in most shops woman's shoes go up to 42 so i have just the right size.

For what it's worth, Fiona looked quite a bit like Shrek after they got married, but I always thought she was still relatively cute :)
I'm 5'6" and I wear a men's 9.5-10D depending on the shoe, which translates to basically 11.5 wide womens. Since 11.5 is hard to find in many cases, I end up with a women's 12 wide. Where I run into a problem is width. When I was wearing loafers for work, I had to buy them at a men's shoe store because my actual size is a 9.5 D width but with a B width heel so with a 12 wide women's my heel slips around. Even heel inserts don't help that much.

You may like Shoes of Prey. They are about $200 a pair, which is why I never order from them, but they will custom build any kind of shoe you want. You can choose style, color, heel height, etc.

I'm a 8-9 in UK size, and most stores stock size 8 - so that doesn't faze me.
Stores tend not to stock size 9 - so my foster-sister who is biologically female struggles.
My only issue is with women shoes they're typically pointed at the top and my feet are wide - so my heels I always have to get wide fit, aha! (but they're only wide at the toes - which makes it annoying because the rest of my feet are slim) I have short stubby toes aha!
I do have some dysphoria to it as in certain shoes my feet look really long, and masculine but I just remember that my mum(7.5) <- fits typically in 7's, and sister both have bigger feet also. So it's not that much but occasionally I do.
Off Topic
My thing is my height - I'm 5'10 1/2 - so basically 5'11 and I know once my transition is done and when I'm 'passable' /comfortable in my appearance (<- not a term I like to use but only way to properly put point across.) I want to wear heels in public and I mean 4"+ which makes me 6ft+
There's many tings I want to adjust about my body, but we have to be happy with ourselves - because with our gender dysphoria our self image is even worse than average - and cisgendered people struggle with it. So it's about self acceptance and knowing what you can change, and what you can't.
5' 8", 140 lbs.
US women's size 10 to 10.5 depending on vendor; EU size 41, or US men's size 8.5 to 9. Women's shoes fit better than men's for the shape of my feet. (FWIW, my hands have a 2D/4D ratio of 1.0. Seems like most of me outside the body core is feminine.)
I'm not sure what my shoe size is,my height I think is 5'2.
I thought I was size 8 in mens, but I can fit size 7 women shoes without extra toe space, so I'm not really sure.
in fact, I'm not even sure my feet grew when I was in middle school/High school :o :o :o
Well, when I remember that size is just a number, it doesn't bother me.
I wear a size 10 to 11 in men's, women's size 11 or 12, depending on the style and brand. I find some cute shoes at the Payless, in the local mall. They have a good selection in my size range.
Now if I could just get a handle on my pants size. I just can't find any consistency there.

This is a systemic problem with women's shoes. They don't fit women's feet either. They seem to tighten the most over one of the widest parts (the toes) causing all kinds of foot problems.
It's tough period getting women's shoes if you have wide feet. I used to get my sneakers at New Balance (my current pair is Saucony--nothing else they had at the shoe place fit). Redwings were okay but they discontinued the good women's work shoes so I switched to Wolverines which are good too. I never wore femmy shoes (I had pumps for first communion (!!) but that was the last time) much but I did once get some heels to pull off this elegant lesbian look and they were a sort of open-sandal looking design which let my foot parts stretch out. I'm not into femmy stuff but I still like those shoes, go figure. (Not eager to wear anything that gets me called a girl again, though.)
Women's shoes are torture devices. That's why there's a whole sensible shoes industry (women who work on their feet like nurses pay hundreds for allegedly comfy shoes) and this thing about wearing ballet flats which to me look silly as all get out but sure beat those awful mules.

I have the same problem with some styles where the wide width comes with a wide heel that sloshes around. My feet look like wedges. I thought that was weird because shoes never fit but I've found out that's actually really common and the shoe industry is just off its rocker.
Did I ever tell you about the day at Target (this was 15 years ago) when I tried every dept: Mens, Womens, Boys, Girls and they had not one shoe in any style that fit my feet. Way to go, Targeay!
Finding shoes that are fashionable is difficult for me. My foot is wide so it has been a struggle. I seem to find flats easily but heels are a different animal. I wish shoe companies and designers would realize the large market that is just waiting for them.
Most of the time I can fit into a woman's 10w sometimes even 10 and on those rare occasions I can't I'm stuck with and 11. I would love it to be slightly smaller but pretty even with the other woman in my family so I'm not completely unhappy with that at all. Hugs

I thought it was ironic and triggering in a way when Scuba-Pro decided to label the fins that fit my US mens 10 1/2 foot Super-Extra-Large! Heck, a friend of mine 4" shorter was a size 13! Ginormous!
Between HRT, vanity sizing, and age? somehow I am often a womens 11. Still way down the aisle into the But-Ugly shoe section that somehow also only come with 4" minimum heels. At 6ft tall the last thing I need is another neon sign like but-ugly shoes AND 4+ inch heels. Two inch is plenty enough.
So yes, it does bother me a lot that cute shoes at and above a size 10 are a rarity. With my odd-ball high arch and extra bones on-line shopping is out. Most shoes in the right size my foot is difficult to fit into. Sizes are made for fatter feet, not taller feet. Boots are a near impossibility unless they zip up or 2 sizes or more too big
I wear a woman's size 13 in flats. I have andro sneakers (both pair) so I have not purchased woman's sneakers yet but I will assume a 13.5. My rainbow sandals are size 13 woman's. I am 6'2" from 6'3" last year as measured when we have our annual work health assessments. My shoe size does bother me but it is what it is. At work there are woman my height and some taller. I am in the top 1 or 2% though.
Euro 43 and 1.81m. I have narrow feet so whilst I did wear boy's boots they were always too wide. And now girl's shoes are too short ! Shops do seem to shy away from sizes greater than 42 ?

Look at long tall sally and nordstrom. They have sizes up to 15.

I am a US Women's 12WW...
The 12 would not be so bad but the double wide is...
BTW my spouse (gg) is also a size 12 BUT a 12 Slime, or narrow...
So while 12 are not THAT hard to find, the unusually width make it difficult for both of us to buy shoes (we would never buy without trying them on first)

It's an odd thing for me. I take a US 12w in men's shoes so according to what I've commonly seen for conversion that should make me a 14 in women's. Somehow when I start trying on different footwear some fits me in 12, 12w, 13, and 13w while 14 is just too big. I suppose every shoe and maker is different but it means for a right fit I need to physically try them on preventing me from doing shopping online.
U.K. size 8. I'm fine with it, but if it reduces by one size it'd obviously be preferable. I can just about jam on a 7, but I like very thin high heeled and very pointed shoes - flat sole, none of that horses hoove platform stuff - so if it's not an 8 it's agony.
I'm 5'10, which to me is the best height to be, and I quite like sometimes being up towards 6'3.

I don't think there is a particularly large market to be honest, and as a former fashion PR, designers do not want their designs on anything but the most elegant feet. You're not going to find many prestigious or just fashion orientated designers who design very wide fitting shoes for the same reason they don't design above certain dress sizes - that's not where they want their brand. Is it unfair? Actually it's not.
You can rail against it, but art is art, and in the case of shoes and clothing, the designer has a right to have a vision that excludes swathes of people (cis ones too). I don't know where the 'everyone is beautiful' stuff came from, where we now have to - for instance - pretend fat is fantastic. Objectively, it's just not true on an aesthetic level, however harsh that may be.
I have a friend who is a 12, and has all these problems. Long Tall Sally is a bit middle aged, and I wouldn't be a friend if I told her she could leave the house in some of the mid heeled cruise ships she's bought. There's a lot of good stuff on eBay and Amazon, and some Chinese companies that do very large sizes of genuinely fashionable attractive shoes.
If you're borderline between just a half or a size too big for most women's stores, buy suede rather than leather. The give is much more generous.
9 1/2 to 10... but I am 5'11... so meh... that's a good size. My friend is 5'5 and she wears a 9. She even borrows some of my shoes.
I did go down a size after yrs on hormones, but still need an 11 or an 11 wide. What bothers me is that shoe stores will only carry 1 dam pair of 11's and every other big and tall bitch is out there gunning to get them too, so it's often a disappointing shoe shopping experience. I mean whats worse than finding the cutest shoes that are not in your size... that I don't like lol
I have found that if you frequent stores like Lany Bryant or other larger womens clothing stores that they often have wide shoe styles in larger sizes. though not typically as attractive as I'd prefer.
can we add favorite shoe store to this thread? http://www.dsw.com/
16W men's........sigh.........
13.5-14W - Long Tall Sally is one of the only stores with size 14 shoes. Any other stores?
I'm 6'2" tall with size 12 men's/13 women's, I often wish I were around 5'10" and had smaller feet but figure it is how it is and don't dwell on it too much
I've got a small collection of women's shoes and tend to like my sandals the most, my favorite sandals have a 1" platform with a 2" heel :icon_chick:

I'm 5'7" and wear a size 10 shoe. I always buy size 11 flats and feel really uncomfortable in them. I'd wear men's converse when I'm just bumming around but it would be too obvious I have male feet if I wore them. It's very hard to find shoes!
Little hint, the only difference between men's & women's converse is the colors. Pick a bright, happy pattern and no one will doubt it.
I'm a 9.5, or a 9 wide. I was an 11 or 10.5 before HRT, so I'm not complaining.
I actually did recently buy men's plain white sneakers and then add hot pink laces. :) I needed serious ankle support, and there was basically one pair in the whole store that qualified... (Which means I can now confirm that my feet are smaller, as I also needed 1.5 sizes smaller in men's. I'm right on the line of too small for regular store sizes in that department, which was ironic in an annoying way.)
Size 12 or size 14 womens. Of course it bothers me.
I'm 5'11" and take a women's size 11. I find the choices of styles in this size to be limited in most of the shoe shops I frequent, and it's pretty rare for the larger department stores to carry this size in any style. Oh to have smaller feet!
Funny thing; before I began to transition I couldn't care less about shoes. NOW I know why they are so important.

I'm a women size 8. A smite bit broader, but can usually nab stuff off the shelf.
But my OH is an 8, so is my mom, my sister etc. No one bats an eyelid.
I've been on hormones for about 4 months now and my Nike shoes are large and wide for my feet now. They are US 9.5 and now I will have to buy a 9 or 8.5 size. I'm 5'6" ish tall
im 5'6 and shoes size is 9... big feet i have
I wear size 11 women's, though I can't usually wear the ones on the more narrow side. It's one of the reasons I love Nordstroms, because they carry 11s and can help me find the styles that come in my size for me to try on.
If you're concerned about your shoe size, darker colors look smaller, and if they cover your toes but leave your ankle and the top of your foot somewhat exposed, it creates a foreshortening effect like wearing 3/4 sleeves or V necks for people with longer arms or wider shoulders respectively. Capris pants do the same thing for your legs as well.
Hugs,

I'm a UK 8, which is great as that's the largest standard size women's shoes go up to in the UK generally, but there aren't as many options as for other sizes :/
I'm 45 or UK 11 (US women's 13, I think) and 188 cm / 6'2", which means that my feet don't really look all that big relatively. The shoe size doesn't really bother me all that much, as I'm lucky enough to have a store that specialises in unusual sizes, two blocks from my office. Although even they haven't got as many options for me than there would be for just one size smaller, there's still enough.
Earlier this summer I got to chatting with another customer (in her mid-60's) and the store owner about how things have changed – these days, the women's selection in regular stores goes up to 42 or sometimes even 43, while back when I was in my teens I even had some difficulties finding men's sizes that fit – and how nice it is to be able to have other options than sneakers or combat boots. Ended up buying nice slightly punk-esque pumps with 3" heels; back when I found the store, the owner pointed out that at my height, people will see me as very tall regardless of the heels so I might as well choose shoes that look and feel nice. She was right, too.
I wear US 9.5 women's. Sometimes 9s. As a boy I wore 7.5-8. I'm okay with it. I don't have trouble finding shoes.
I have wide feet. Men's 9.5EE if I can find them, or 10D. So I need Woman's 11 or 12s. I have better luck with sandals or flats, terrible luck with even moderate heels. What burns me is that most of the cute shoes stop at 10. I know some beautiful genetic women that need 12s and often wear Men's shoes except for fancy dress.
The same goes for dresses, as I have aged my shape has changed to where I am at that size 16/18 break between cute and frumpy.
I am 5"9 and a half and wear size 11 women shoes and hate it although on the plus side they are just long, not wide and quite narrow.
6' tall with size 9.5 or 10 shoes
My feet are not really out of proportion for my height which is okay. I need to drop some weight though to make heels a bit more comfortable
I am a men's size 12. Which is no surprise because all the women in my family have big wide feet. It's just very fortunate that my preferred style is rock/goth/weird stuff. So I'll just keep wearing my big heavy boots. If I'm ever in a situation to wear heels and a gown; then we've got a problem.
I am a 6.5 comfortably 5.5 sore feet after a day. I was last i checked 166cm so 5'6''mm i think not used to America's systems. My feet are uber wide though.
Not sure what country size that 6.5 is but I believe I am a chinese 24.5 if that helps.
I'm 5'9" (well, i used to be. At 64, i'm now 5'8"). Men's size 9.5. I find Women's size 10 works for sandals and flats, but upgrade to size 11 for walking and tennis shoes. Funny because my walking shoes are size 11 and feel perfect, but my court (tennis) shoes have a little wiggle room. Strange that there doesn't seem to be half sizes between 10 and 11.
Laura
I still wear mostly doc martens and pretty neutral sneakers when Im not wearing work boots. I havent yet encountered this. One of these days I needa drag my butt out get my feet properly sized and just empty my bank account for the funsies..
(My feet were never exceptionally large especially given my height.)
What I have noticed however is I rarely find shoes that MAKE larger than women's 10. My guesstimate is that Im somewhere around a 12?
Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
I'm a 12-13 US Women's depending on the brand. 11 is usually the cutoff at most stores and with many brands, and that is the worst part of having big feet by far. I don't think they look weird on me, I'm 5'11" after all.
Doesn't really bother me. Granted I'm a US size 9-10 in women's and size 9 in men's. I just bought a cheap pair of boots at Wal-Mart today size ten. They fit very nice and I can't wait to wear them to a concert in two weeks.
I'm 5'9" and women's size 9.
I am a size 8/8.5 in women'sshoes and it does bother me.
I am 5'10 and women's 10.5-11, Mens 9.5-10. My feet have shrunk 1-1.5 sizes over the last year due to significant weight loss. I had no idea that was possible.
Finding shoes is a little tough because the standard width does not always fit but being an 11 or under is way easier than over 11 at most stores.
I'm size 11, my feet are massive width and length :'(. I haven't looked into women's shoe sizes, but I'm assuming I'm gonna be screwed (when it comes to buying shoes) when I transition
You'll be a 12 or 13 US most likely. There's is plenty out there, just not necessarily at every department store.
5'11"... and HRT shrunk me feet a bit. I'm a size 9-10 women's now. But pretty much all the women on my dad's side are tall with big feet, including my younger sisters, so I don't feel like I stick out.
My feet confuse me. I historically wore a 10 and a 1/2 men's because I like toe room, but my feet are probably closer to a 9 and 1/2 mens in reality. My only pair of women's shoes are heels that are size 11 womens and way, way, way too lose. Like I could have dropped to a size 10 on them easy, maybe less. I've been paying attention to my sister's shoe sizes, and I can fit a 9 she has but it isn't comfortable. My feet are a little wide, but not dramatically so apparently, but I feel like they look wise. In other words, I have no freakin' clue what size I am.

The funny thing about shoes (and most clothing) is that there really is no standardized "size." A 9 for one brand may be too small, but a 9 for another may be too large. I believe this is due to not all shoes being made to accommodate all shapes of feet. Two people may have the same size foot, but because of the shape, they may fit the same shoe differently.
Historically I have just taken a ballpark average of every size shoe I have ever worn. Sounds to me that you are a ballpark 10-10 1/2... but again, depending on the shoe, that could change.
I'm about 5'11(I think closer to 5'10 honestly), and my male shoe size is US 10-10.5. I honestly am not too sure about the shoe thing, my plan was kind of just to wear whatever Birkenstocks fit me while in the kitchen(I have heard the Tokyo Grips are great for people who need to stand a lot), and then male Converse for general wear, just because I know they are somewhat cheap, and very comfortable.
I guess I am just very simple on the shoe thing, as long as they are comfortable, look okay, and are cheap, I am fine.
Luckily enough I mostly wear training shoes and nowadays there are some very colorful (girly if you like) mens styles, and so mens sizes. They wouldn't look out of place on a M or F and are of course very comfortable.
I was a 9.5-10 in men's shoes. Now I take mostly a 10.5-11 in women's shoes. Sometimes I can fit a 10. It doesn't bother me much. Though most stores stop at size 10, some (Payless, for example) carry sizes up to women's 13. So I can often buy off the shelf, and there's always online shopping.
(Online shopping rant: I ordered a pair of boots more than a week ago. They originated in New York. So far, according to the parcel tracking, they have been to West Palm Beach, Miami and Louisville. They haven't even reached the border yet. If they'd just put them in a brown van and started driving north, they'd have been here by now!)
The problem with shoes is that they all seem to be designed around about US size 6. I'll see something cute and the store will always have them (I'm only a 10). But they look like crap because the shoemakers don't scale them up proportionality for the larger size!!!
I'm about 5-11 and I take a 11-1/2 or 12 women's shoe size. Really depends on the brand.
The only thing that bothers me is getting shoes in my sizes. Running shoes like Nike are usually easy but the nicer stores like Dillard's don't carry any over 11.
I recently went to a local Dillard's with my mother-in-law to get some clothes for my older brothers weeding. I got a pair of slacks and a suit jacket. Yes women's style. It was very comfortable. When it came to shoes I really wanted a plain pair of loafers. Just something to go with my black suit. The lady searched but found no larger shoes in stock. I ended up with a pair of men's 11 plain loafers. Not a bad thing. They really have little difference. On the plus side I found these new shoes go great with a pair of jeans!

Do be careful not to wear shoes that are too small. You can damage your feet & especially your toenails. I wore some size 10 flats for most of a day once, and ended up with bleeding sores on the back of my ankles & the tops of my toes (I've got funky monkey toes, though).
I'm 6' 1", and my shoe sizes are a bit wonky. In a slip-on, I can't do more than a 10-1/2 or they just fall off. I can wear a 10-wide sometimes, depending on brand. If it's got laces or a buckle that actually tightens, I go with 11s. I can find 10-wide in some stores, and 11's in many, but I've never found 10-1/2 in any physical store. I can only find them online, and the selection is fairly limited.
My men's sizes were generally 11's, but I always intentionally got a larger size since they were more comfortable, and just made up the difference by tightening the laces more.
I'm 13.5-14 men's and I have 15 women's and it's a little loose. 14 would probably be ok, but it might be who makes the shoes. I've only had this one pair and I don't know of anyplace that has shoes in my size that I can try on. It's all mail order.

Shoes of Prey custom makes shoes to size 15. I bought a pair of 14's and they are very nice. They are a vendor for Nordstrom so that speaks of the quality. Which also means you have 365 days or more to send them back for a replacement. I've bought shoes at Payless but in comparison they are crap. They are pricy but not the Pleaser brand which you can get at Long Tall Sally They have a multitude of custom styles that allow you to choose platform from sandals to stilettos with a multitude of heel sizes. You can pick and choose colors in any combination. Here is an example.
12WW ... A 12 regular would be a slight pain, but 12 double wide is a REAL pain.

13 in W, yes it bothers me. A little less so now that i've found Nordstrom and Nordstrom
Rack carry a decent selection of 13's:
I am 5ft 11in and wear a size 12 women's. It is tuff to find cute shoes in my size locally :(

For what it's worth, Fiona looked quite a bit like Shrek after they got married, but I always thought she was still relatively cute :)
That's so true.
I wear anywhere from 9W to 11 depending on the brand and style. I'm 5'10"
Some 10 W fit me, but most of all 11 or 12 fit well. I find a decent selection of nice shoes around here.
Some of my shoes
The red heels are size 11
The black ones from Victoria Secret are size 10.
The other black heel is also size 10.
The tennis shoe is size 10.5 because I needed the width and they didn't have a 10.
The flat is size 9.5.
Sadly I had to throw out some shoes that had worn out. I'll have to buy replacements.

I wear a womans 13 - 13-1/2 Extra wide. David Tate shoes, makes some of theirs in my size.
I'm 5' 11". I usually can get into an 11 or 12 depending on the brand. Shoes I've bought on AliExpress never fit though. So be careful. When I was on HRT for 2 years I recall fitting in a gf's 10.5 tennis shoes and could cram my foot in her heels.

I wear a size 14 shoe. From Torrid, however, it drops to size 13
I'm just a smidgin under 5' 7" tall and my (UK) shoe size is 8.5/9 I would have liked smaller feet but they are not huge so fine really.
What IS confusing is the charts that plot equivalences between male and female and between UK and US! Some charts say UK is 1/2 size smaller and some say 2 sizes!
I have bought support running shoes (I have plantar fasciitis so I need support) and have been fine with 9 in mens and also fine with 8.5 in womens. Having said that, I bought some rainbow open toed slingbacks in a 9 and they were like boats! The 7s fit me much better. It's all terribly confusing! ??? ??? ;D
I'm size either 13 or 14 depending on the brand. I had good luck with Payless online but they are going out of business.
Time to start the search again. Shoes of prey is an expensive option.
Size 13 or 14 is do-able but difficult. If my feet were the tiniest bit bigger I can't imagine finding shoes.
My shoe size does not cause me much dysphoria - it's the 6'2" height and football player build that are the problem.
I am 6'6" and wear a men's size 11, which is really small for someone of my height. That translates to a women's size 12.5W which would be perfect if shoes in this size would actually be offered. But after 10.5 there seem to be no more half sizes anymore.
I do have the handicap that my left foot is about a size smaller than my right foot. So I either have to go with a 12W with my right foot suffering or a 13 with the constant danger of losing my left shoe.
I don't have a problem with the size of my feet since they go along with my height, but similar to Kim I do have issues with my rather bulky upper body (huge rib cage, broad shoulders and muscular upper arms) and no hips.

I have one pair from Shoes of Prey. I love them . Went to the web page and discovered that they are closed now.
Depending on the brand, I can fit into 10 W and almost any 11 or 12 size shoes. I found some every day OK shoes at Walmart (clog types), and better shoes I bought at JC Pennys or Nordstrom Rack.

For the cheap shoes target is ok too. I like JC Penny and Nordstrom but a lot of my shopping is at Kohl's.

I used to shop at Kohl's a lot (after all, it is a Wisconsin store chain), but there is none of them in any of the malls here I tend to visit for clothing/shoe shopping. I never found/ find any shoes, that I like at Target (even though it is a Minnesota store chain), not as a guy nor as a girl. But I am a pretty picky shoe shopper.
I am pretty lucky with cheap shoes (wear them, throw them away) from Walmart. All their size 11 seem to fit me well.
I'm size 12 or 13 depending on brand and style. It only bothers me because most stores don't carry much if anything higher than 11. Penney's has a few in store and Target has 12s on line but nothing like trying them on. I've never seen anything in Kohls higher than 11, most styles stop at 10. That's why the demise of Payless saddens me so.

They don't have much above size 10, I buy a lot of clothing there.
I am men's US 10 / women's 11/12....my feet are really too big for most 11s, but I slip out of many size 12 shoes. I really hope a little more weight loss plus HRT gets me down to a true women's size 11, because the selection is so much better that it is for size 12.
And it only bothers me because I want more shoe selection (if only I could shrink down to women's size 10! Ain't gonna happen, though...)

TJ Max has great deals. I got the cutest Capri pants there for $4.
6'2" size 11 in women's. I don't have too much trouble finding cute shoes online (a little more in store) at dsw, Nordstrom's, Nine West, Steve Madden, Zappos etc. I recently took advantage of a 40% off two pair sale at White Mountain (went through their website direct) and the open toed block heel clogs and strappy sandals I got, I could live in! I do get that letdown sometimes where a pair will look so cute in a smaller size but so ugly in mine. Like the added length has ruined the angle and shape of the step XD
