Title: Advice and resources for finding a general practitioner
Post by: popa910 on December 18, 2016, 11:38:40 PM
I recently moved to a new state to start a job, and now I've got to find a general practitioner.  I live in a heavily conservative state, and I want to find a doctor who will be more progressive than the average resident in my state.

Currently, I'm still slowly trying to figure out what I want to do with myself; I don't know if I want to transition or not, or how far along the process I'd like to go.  I am starting to see a receding hairline (I'm 23 years old, but I still get mistaken for a high school student sometimes :P), so I would like to obtain a prescription for either Finasteride or Dutasteride to at least fight that.  And if I'm lucky, I may get some of the side effects, so hopefully I can figure out how I like any changes. ;)

My question is: what are some tips or resources that you guys have that could help me find a good doctor without meeting with many different doctors?
