Title: UK 38A bra - Hard to find
Post by: Rebecca on May 29, 2016, 08:37:08 PM
Initially checking the likes of Asda, Tesco etc for cheap day to day bra but 38A not stocked :(

However after some digging online I've found Marks & Spencer do carry a lot in 38A. They seem to be quite unique in that as everywhere else starts at 38B.

Plan to drop by tomorrow to arrange a proper fitting to confirm my size then pick up a few.

Will post how it goes.
Now just need to hope my advisor and I click :)

Couldn't get a booking for fitting before tomorrow online so just settled taking in a few options.

Staff were welcoming and I picked up no awkwardness from them as they politely asked if was just there to try things on then pointed me to an empty cubicle.

Sizes in accord with the reviews but still found one of my choices to be perfect :)

Will defo be heading back to M&S when I need more stuff.

Had the same problem In the UK. I often get them from amazon. There are vendors that sell ex-store lingerie and with a bit of digging you can find quite a few 38a bras

Good call not been in Matalan for ages. About time I checked in as they did have some nice stuff in the January sales.

Online is ok for most things but as you know bra sizes can vary wildly even within the same manufacturer so prefer to try on in store to be sure.

Absolutely agree. Matalan are great. You can order online & get free collect at the store. Then you can try it on & if they don't fit return is no biggie.

Hi Jerrica;
Yes Marks & spencer are the way to go. I was 42A and had a lot of trouble finding any bras, but as I have increased in size - now 44B heading towards C, it turns out that M&S have some very nice  and pretty bras, even in pink with lace. I also have two 42B (underwired  strapless bras from M&S (I use bra extenders with them. They do a pair  1 Black and 1 white and 1 nude and 1 pink.

I just love wearing strapless low cut off the shoulder dresses, but then I cannot go without a bra.
Marks also sell them on line now. Although I buy all my undies when I am visiting my UK House. In fact just 2 weeks ago  I bought a very nice 1 piece pantie corsolette with suspenders 42B whilst in the UK As I am now very tiny down there thru 3.5 years HRT  it actually looks great on me. In just wish they had it in another cloud such as Black or pink!.

M&S sumptuously soft bras are my daily wear,  they are utterly comfortable,  highly recommended.

I was a 38A for quite a while an the best fit was usually a Victoria Secret bralette. Not a real bra but with some shaping and padding. I also found a few on Amazon...
