Title: who will be 'the successor Douglas Ousterhout?(dr O)
Post by: fabriziatommasi on June 28, 2014, 02:14:48 PM
How many of us know, the master and pioneer, inventor of facial feminization is retiring!
Dr O, has no trained surgeon to continue its wonderful surgery ffs.
Dr O be only doctor with a surgical outcome that is the female face of a model, many will attack me on what I am saying, but who knows the power of surgery Dr. O and his miracles understand what I'm saying!
I wonder there will be 'a successor? 'another Dr. O? ???

Dr. O wrote the book on FFS and it has served as a blueprint for other surgeons. I haven't heard that he will have a DIRECT successor in San Francisco. There are other maxillofacial surgeons around the world who are well versed on his techniques and employ them regularly. There is no shortage of talent out there

You're right that being a wide choice of surgeons ffs. But the work of feminilizazione facial surgery by Dr. O. be one I have not seen results like his magic, believe me! ::)

I read somewhere that his new enquiries are being referred to Dr. Meltzer. But that's all I know, and I do agree with him doing aggressive work fabrizia, only few of the surgeons of today are being aggressive like him, I disagree that none of them are as good or aggressive though, there is few, but there IS.

@ calicarly: It 's true what you say, the secretary of Dr O recommended for ffs Dr. Toby Meltzer in Arizona, but unfortunately he does not rebuild the front! And the milling file is only good for nails not for the bones! >:-)

He's definitely exceptional, sad to see him go. And he seemed so spry when he did my work! He's referred Dr. Toby Meltzer to me for my bottom surgery, so yeah. It'll be tough to replace Dr. O though.

blessed you, who was beatified by his hands! I was missing a year to get money for surgery with him. I'm desperate, I wanted him, the other surgeons I see faces canceled, not the faces, without expression and naturalness, but after other doctors ffs the same as before, Dr. O do not abandon us!

You sure about that? From Dr. Meltzer's website:

FRONTAL SINUS CRANIOPLASTY

If the frontal sinus bones are too thin to be shaved down. The bone is removed
and then reshaped and then replaced. This procedure allows for set-back of the
bone when replaced. This procedure produces the best symmetry and shape.

Dr. O just told me in private email today, "I am retiring.  My last surgery will be August 15 th.  I will be transfering my practice to Dr. Jordan Deachamps-Braly, a superb and very well trained plastic and craniofacial surgeon."

(Yes, I'm that Nicole Hamilton (http://www.hamiltonlabs.com/FacialSurgery/).)

OMG! Nicole Hamilton! How are you!  :) I remember reading your website back in 1999. It was truly inspirational. Thank you so much. It helped change my life. I think it was the first time I'd ever heard about FFS.

I remember you had laser skin resurfacing with Dr Dover. Did that work out ok?

Just wanted to let you know that it was your page on skin resurfacing that convinced me to do it as well. I am so glad I did. I like having soft baby smooth skin on my face. In my case though I opted for dermabrasion which required a total of 6 treatments. I did this treatment around 2004 or so.

Thank you, Charlotte.  You're very kind.  Yes, I had LSR in 1999 with Dover.  This was an excellent choice for me and I was very pleased.   Around 2003 I finally got around to documenting the experience at http://hamiltonlabs.com/LaserSkinResurfacing/ (http://hamiltonlabs.com/LaserSkinResurfacing/).  I think about doing it again, if only I had the time.

Here's me, taken last summer for for my faculty ID at the University of Washington, Bothell.  I've been teaching electrical engineering there as affiliate (part time) faculty for about a year and a half.
