Title: "smooth legs" hair removal pads
Post by: Bethany W on October 08, 2009, 06:57:03 AM
Anyone ever tried these things? I find they work well on my legs and arms. Not so much on my coarser chest/stomach/back/face hair.

This is the stuff that's basically "emery paper" (fine sandpaper) on a fancy holder?  If so, your observations tally with comments I've seen online from others :)

There's got to be a better way. Im not comfortable with rubbing carcinogenic creams all over myself and shaving is a royal pain in the ass.

Ever tried two pairs of tights, one opaque, the other patterned or shiny ?  Saves an awful lot of hassle and the result is as smooth as they come.  Not for high temperature climates, though.

No help when you're naked, the most important time of all!

But anyway, I've heard those 'hair removal pads' are popular in Europe, but that could be a crazy internet myth.  Like you said, probably OK for finer hair but not for thick testosterone-y hair.

Ah, that explains why her toes curled up in exactly the same rhythm as my pelvic thrusts! :)  She left her tights on!

I find them a great addition to the "toolkit"..

OK, they do sound a little brutal, but the so does epilation..

They don't work well on the face, and if you rub too hard  they can "burn" a bit....

..but for legs, arms, and knees in particular, they are great !

It is also possible to keep hair if you want, but give it a lighter more feminine appearance with these pads, by rubbing "up and down" to thin the hairs rather than "in circles" to remove them.

Always remember to wash/shower, and moisturise afterwards.....

You also need to stop using them for a while if you are going to wax or epilate as the hair tips are weakened by the abrasion..

I have tried them and love them, but they are a little spendy.  Try to make my own, with emery paper.  But they must use something other than emery because it failed miserably.  Back to the drawing board.
