Title: Boob development prior to starting pellets and progesterone
Post by: MsAllannah1! on September 08, 2017, 04:26:35 PM
Okay, everyone has been so kind to me here, I will indulge y'all again. So here's the thing. I have yo-yo'ed on HRT half a dozen times in my life. I'd see development, get scared and stop. I am VERY determined to take a more aggressive approach this time, using pellets and progesterone (I hope). Here's my growth question. I have some residual fat in my man boobs from all the yo-yo-ing. Even after having lipo time before last to get it removed. So what I have is essentially what I got, in my 50s, from a couple months on HRT. I'm not sure if having what I have will translate into faster growth when I start pellets or if it makes no difference. Love to get thoughts of others who maybe have similar experiences. I wasn't sure if it's appropriate to post the shots of my current man boobs so I can IM them if that's more appropriate. Or post. Or nothing. Just let me know. And thanks again to everyone who has been so kind to me!

I was in somewhat the same situation except I never had lipo.  I don't think it really made any difference with growth rate or with the final size.

However, since you had lipo there that might make a difference since fat cells are no longer there to grow.  I may be wrong but I don't think new fat cells will be created.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. What you mention -- loss of fat cells -- is my worst fear. That's why I'd like to share my male boob pictures with anyone in a similar boat to see what they think. What I have now is what I gained after the lipo and did HRT for a couple months before stopping. I know it's vain but I'm just curious to know if this seems like decent growth that could maybe be the foundation for something. I don't want to break rules and share in public but would PM for anyone's opinion. I"m SO insecure and worried....

The problem is, there are too many other variables to base an opinion on some photos. There is, honestly, no way any of us could make a meaningful statement.

Thanks Kelly....I appreciate your thoughts! I guess I'm just grasping here because I do worry that nothing will happen and I'll just be stuck with these man boobs that just sort of hang there. I am praying that perhaps HRT will create enough tissue so they will gain shape and size....

HRT will certainly grow the mammary glands over time.  I don't think lipo would have any effect there.  How much they  grow and their proportion to breast fat is a matter of individual genetics.  So its really difficult to say anything meaningful.

If you still have "man-boobs" then there is still fat tissue there so maybe you don't need to worry too much.
