Title: Peecock GenX Review
Post by: LuckyLee on June 23, 2017, 11:31:22 AM
I'm new to this, so I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, or breaking any rules! I am getting a Peecock GenX, would anyone be interested in a review when it arrives?

Yep, a review would be great. I haven't bought a packer yet, and I've been reading all the reviews of the different ones so the more reviews the better. Thanks!  8)

I'd be interested as well. I've been researching STPs and packers and am trying to decide which to go for.

I don't know how to add pictures in this, can someone help me? I have posted the some pictures on my Tumblr sideblog linked below, but I'm not sure how to add them to this review.

Well, anyway, I've gotten it in the mail! I am pretty happy with it.

The cup has a bit of a lip on it, to be more spill-proof, and it looks more like an EZP (for the pictures I've seen online, I don't have an EZP at the moment) than it does the past generation of Peecock (which I do have). The cup is pretty deep too, I measured it to be about 2 inches deep in the back. It's smaller than the cup on the Peecock Gen3 or the Freetom Classic, but it's a smaller packer overall. The tip seems a bit wider open than the last Peecock, but not by much. Used my Peecock GenX (3") as an STP twice so far, and it didn't leak and the flow was fine, but the cup is deep and not angled well enough, so after you use it you have to really tip the cup up to get all the pee out, which wasn't an issue with my Peecock Gen3 (4.75").

The balls are WAY better than the Peecock Gen3, they have a ton of texture compared to the almost entirely smooth balls of its predecessor. The shaft also has more raised veins, which I like, and the head is a bit textured too, and not totally smooth. The Peecock GenX (3") is shiner than the Peecock Gen3 (4.75"), and I don't know if that'll rub off or if it's here to stay, but it makes the material look a bit less realistic I think. On the positive side, I washed it and it didn't get sticky/tacky like the Peecock Gen3 does! Hopefully that will stay the same even if the shiny part comes off, which I don't know if it will.

It seems to want to stick straight out in my Peecock Comfort Jock Harness, and in that harness you can't tuck it up like you can with a packer with a longer shaft. I think you could pack it up if you didn't keep it ready to use as an STP and had the cup facing you and the shaft up. I put my boxer briefs on over the harness and it looked like a little bit of a hard-on, but when I put my jeans on, it became totally unnoticeable as long as it stays in the center and doesn't go down either pant leg. I like the bulge from my 4" Sailor soft pack better, but that isn't an STP, so c'est la vie.

They're right in marketing this one for solo use instead of sex with a partner, because the pleasure insert has a very small and squishy thing that goes in the shaft, it's not a firmer shaft like the pleasure kit is for the Peecock Gen3, and it's rather small. I haven't yet used it to masturbate, but it seems like it'd be good for that if you have growth down there from taking T (I don't yet because today is my 1-week on T) because there's enough room you can kinda insert your growth in there, like a flashlight kinda, so it isn't just for rubbing on.

Alrighty, so if anyone has some specific questions I'd be more than happy to answer them!
