Hello. My name is Chance.
I'm barely a youth as I'm 17 years old. I had come out as transgender (FtM) back in September of last year and I'm joining this forum for advice regarding medical transition and just overall passing tips. My pronouns are he/him.
I mainly enjoy music and video games but I am fairly athletic as I enjoy playing soccer for recreation as well as weightlifting.
I don't have the most supportive family as my parents both doubt my validity as a transmale, despite the obvious signs growing up.
I started realizing that I wasn't really normal when I started feeling violent towards my body when puberty hit. I hated my developing figure, dreaded the thought of growing up to be a woman, and had full blown anxiety when I had the realization that there was no going back to my very gender neutral state where I wasn't really self conscious about my body at all. I had learned about FtM trans people when I was probably about 12 years old, feeling an immediate connection, but I pushed it away as I did not want to accept it. It wasn't until the summer of 2018 when I really started experimenting with my gender and feeling euphoric when I got more and more masculine haircuts as well as increasingly more masculine.
I've always loved the name Chance and felt more of a connection to it than my birthname, so that's what I came out with when I told my friends and family and I still go by it.
Thanks for having me! I'm always happy to chat!
