I certainly can't share this in public social media, so guess who gets to hear? lol... you. As some might know I've been whining about lower abdominal cramping a LONG time now. Like almost a year.. and lots of theories from lots of docs about what I have going on downstairs..
Well after I was doing a some heavy & tiring lifting (its very hard for me) around the house, I felt 'something' loosen up downstairs. Came back inside, and ... spotting blood in the location of the vagina on the 'gusset' of my underwear. And at the moment I'm not cramping downstairs either. I suspect it'll be back anyways...
Its either that or I'm bleeding from my vagina again. Also not impossible, as I've been 'playing' around there again.. and I did bleed for 2 years from an old granulation tissue inside long time ago. The 'smell' though is a very um.. earthy? scent. Not that I'm sticking my nose in it, but I have a keen sense of smell usually (a gift from chronic migraines). I should preface this by saying the granulation vaginal bleeding was also accompanied by pain, but of a different sort..like I was constantly very sore down there.
Nonetheless.. an interesting development. And no its not some strange psychiatric need for fulfillment or w/e. I have very real issues going on that aren't psychosomatic (unfortunately).
This could be very interesting, have to get an exam and see where it is coming from. You wearing a pad now? No pain part is definitely interesting.

I've had multiple examinations. They all say different things.. and I suspect if I go to my primary now he'll just tell me to see a geneticist (like they all have..especially since they know I can't see him till April). Its all very annoying... noone wants to learn, or even know. They just shunt me off elsewhere. Honestly I'm getting a new primary after this fiasco.
As of yet the cramps have not returned, of which I'm eternally grateful. Honestly its been miserable living with the feeling of something internally being wrung like a rag doll. Yup to the pads.
Possibly a gynecologist would have this but I know a urologist has it. There is a medical camera that is so small you can pass it up the urethra to do an examination from the inside without surgery. I know this because they used one on my roommate to locate a restriction in her urethra. This would be small enough to determine what type of internal structure you have probably without regard to how undeveloped the structure might be. As imaging hasn't been conclusive, possible a closer examination where there is a known entry might be in order.

A cystoscopy does wonders.. for disorders of the urethra or bladder. They're not too good at telling whats outside of the bladder beneath or above the pelvic floor though. You're absolutely right in regards to finding sources of UTI's, bladder scars, urethral strictures, etc.
When they did the pelvic cystoscopy my ob/gyn lied to me when he said a Urologist would be present too to examine me. He also didn't visualize the left ureter (a concern for disorders of wolffian or mullerian agenesis... something he was suggesting I had afterwards). He didn't give me any definitive diagnosis other than saying what he didn't see. There apparently was a LOT he 'didn't see'.
My childhood treating doctors couldn't come up with a diagnose that would explain why I was bleeding, feeling bloated, cramps, mood swings. At the first the doctors suggested that I changed my eating habits? To make matters even more complicating, my periods were irregularly making it difficult for the doctors to catch the flow in action, and finally diagnose it. There were moments when I didn't know wither to sit or stand, I often wet my clothes as a result. Months later, the bleeding came back, associated with the cramps. It was another car ride back to the ER. This time, surgery was required. While I was under anesthesia, I had no idea what was done to me. Now that I'm grown up, all what is left is a scar on my body, the stitches are already gone from an area that they sowed up.

I'm so sorry to hear that. In my experiences it is very difficult if not downright impossible to find out what they did in these childhood surgeries.. HUGS :(
