Title: Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic Experiences
Post by: Emmanymar on January 02, 2020, 07:32:02 pm
So I have just about decided to go with Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic for my SRS since I live in Norway and Belgrade is not too far away. From the little information I have seen online it all appears to be positive. I think I want to get the sigmoid colon surgery since lubrication is important to me.

My question is if anyone would be happy to share their experiences with Dr. Miro with me or some helpful advice before I contact him about the surgery. This would be very helpful so I hope someone want to tell me their experiences, I just want to make sure my choice is not a bad one. I am terrified of the surgery going badly.

I once contacted Djordjevic and asked him if the results would be good.
He gave me a weird answer : '' it wouldn't be like as if God made it himself so up to you to decide '' was his answer to me.

Miroslav focuses on functionality rather than looks. He said so himself in a documentary called '' I want my sex back ''.

Miroslav appeared in two documentaries about sex change regret. In one made by the Dutch television program '' Zembla '' and in one called '' I want my sex back '' from a Russian television program.

Miroslav also testified in an article a year or two back titled '' sex change regret on the rise '' where he claimed to have performed 14 reversal surgeries for sex change regretters in a matter of 5 years time.

Miroslav seems to be gender critical in the same way as trans exclusionary feminists but he seems rather subtle about it.

I think he is a very good surgeon though. I think his results will be one of the best one can get because he focuses on functionality rather than looks.

I just don't like his philosophy. I wouldn't want to have my surgery performed by someone who thought about me as a mentally ill man rather than a woman with a birth defect.

Debby

I see :( That is something I will have to think over before I make a decision I think. Do you by any chance remember if you first contacted him through the contact form on his website or via e-mail? I am unsure how to get in contact with him.

I know a few people personally who went to him and I cared for one of them after the surgery. They didn't have any serious complications and all of them had good results. Some of them went for a second surgery to adjust a few things here and there afterwards but that was mostly to further improve the looks.

Thank you so much! That sounds great  :D

I actually like his reply.   It is good to have realistic expectations that surgeons are not "God" and that results do vary, even among those with the best international reputations.  Also what one would consider "good results" can be very subjective, outside of disasters of course!

There is a thread here from a girl that had a peritoneal pull through with him last year.   I believe  you can find it through a search.    Have you considered this technique rather than colon?   I believe it too is self lubricating and a less invasive surgery.

Could you perhaps link me to that thread if you have the time?  :)

Me too!  I am interested in the peritoneal pull through with my revision, so I asked him about it via the form on his web site.  However, I am not in a hurry, more curious about my options at this time.

I found the tread about the girl that did a peritoneal with him, it was actually in 2018 that it was posted.
