Yeah, I think most FTM's, having lived as female for some of our lives, can empathize completely with the man-bashing and don't take offence. I think the only thing that would be offensive is if you excluded us from it, as though we weren't in the male group. Although some of us may be different from bio men, many of us are not. And some bio guys are different from the flock too.

I actually found myself watching sports in my boxers and undershirt, can of beer in my hand and overflowing ashtray beside myself once. Thought I was turning into a stereotype before my very eyes.

I do try to avoid grunting behaviour in public though, and sexism of any form, but that would probably be more my English middle class roots than any gender thing.

Thanks Dennis, I don't mean to be a basher, but humor is humor and like I said, FTM's are perfectly capible of recognising a rather common joke among women in one of it's many forms..  As far as it goes, I'm perfectly happy and interested in sharing conversation and mutually enjoyed activities with men that can be respectful, but as to anything closer then that, It just doesn't grease my wheels.

Hey Dennis, Brick huh? See what I mean?  I gotta carry protection these days, and don't put my "brick" down, It contains anything I need for a day or two just in case, though I usually keep the strap a little shorter, but then it don't swing as well when I have to take out mean tough FTMs.  Gotta be careful around men ya know.

I suppose I'm going out on a limb here, but I chose 100% male.  Considering that 22 people had responded without a single one choosing 100% male (while 10 had chosen 100% female), I felt I almost should go out on a limb.  But maybe it's not such a limb after all.  Lesbian sexuality has never really interested me - not really bothered me, either - just never interested me.  When I envision Celia, I don't see her coupling with women.  I do see her with men - this interests me.  Strange, since when I'm in my masculine persona the thought of being sexual with men makes me reach for the Pepto-Bismol, but there it is. :)

Way back in the "old days"  ;D (1970-ish), pre-op, there was no doubt in my mind that I WAS a woman and that I preferred MEN.

After a wild year and a bit post-op (making notches on the bedpost  :o ) I found myself in bed with another woman! The sad part was that I ENJOYED it!

Did that ever f##k with my head! Here I had gone through Hell backwards and sideways to become the woman I had always known myself to be and I wake up next to a WOMAN! I didn't even enjoy that pre-op!

Anyway, many years have gone by, many lovers, mostly male, and I have learned a few things.

Intamacy between two women is a "different flavour" than between a man and a woman, not better, not worse, just different.

If I could chose someone to spend the rest of my life with, it would be a man (even though they can be a PITA!). If I was spending the rest of my life with someone and had "an affair", it would probably be with a woman.

As long as I don't have to spend the rest of my life trying to have a "meaningful conversation" with a man, I'll be alright  ::)

100% male for me...past, present, and future.. ;)

What does it for me is the way some guys smile... not their appearance or perfect teeth or anything, there's just some expression guys seem to do that's so cute sometimes. A weird mixture of confidence AND shyness, like when you both know the "boldness" is just a front, a sham, and especially when it seems like it's being done just for you.

I set my vote at 60/40 Female and Male - seems to have become much more male prevalent in some ways the further along i progress - but note:this has as much or more to do for me, with personality and intelligence than looks. I am rarely, if hardly ever, attracted to ANY males, just by sight alone, and this has changed little.

I am Finally able to more fully express myself as a powerfully sensual and very sexual woman - seems to really make a difference now that i finally have given myself the full freedom to just be ME...

A few years ago i would have voted 90/10 towards female preference as a partner, but that has obviously shifted, and i think will possibly continue to do so.

Note: Even as a 'male' person, the thought of being with a male, AS A MALE myself, was always disgustingly abhorrent, and the single biggest sexual turn off i can ever think of - obviously more true now, than ever.... 8)

Being bi, the stereotype is I should be attracted to "anything that moves."  And that is such a stereotype!  My attraction for males and females is different.  I'm not sure I can really even describe it.  I guess I'm attracted to women because of the things that make them women, and to men because of the things that make them men.  But for me, love is about the person not the body.  And it's about love first.  Sex comes later.

Well, if something does happen between Rashelle and me, then it will probably be guys at that point.  Otherwise I plan on staying with her.  But the only issue if something were to happen is that I refuse to have sex with a guy until after surgery.

It's not really been considered a lot in my case. I was asexual. Always found women intriguing, but it turns out I was seeking myself. I dated one girl in my life...and two guys (wee I'm so active). Still virgin. Had no libido before anyway (like that helps) - estrogen gave me one :P.

Oh and as for the question, 70% male 30% female...and probably in the same person. I understood it to mean the 'degree of male/femaleness' I seek in partners. I seek someone, most probably male (but not necessarily) that has a definitely more 'male presence', while definitely having so-called feminine qualities. Basically more of an androgynous guy, in personality...but it could be a butch girl, too. The body matters little. I like to be the girlier one too (between me and partner), but that's cause I'm vain like that.
