I'm a post-op transwoman. I underwent the surgery on June 7th (a month ago) in Thailand. In the first 2 weeks, everything went well, there's no problem at all. But unfortunately, in this past week, I noticed that I had a problem with the dilation : it was hard to insert the dilator into the vagina. So yesterday, I took a look in the mirror to figure out what's really going on down there, and I really surprised that the downside of my urethra was swollen, it looked as if it would have exploded. It resulted in the dilation to be painful. Sometime before this happened, my vagina also smelt rotten, I used to think that it might be caused by using too much lubricant in dilating, and that the lubricant got mixed up with the douching liquid (200 cc of sodium chloride 0.9%+2 bottle cap of betadine solution). Is it possible that I experience chlamydia? :(
Chlamydia isn't real likely but it is likely you have developed some other infection. You need to see a doctor as soon as possible. There are many different types of infection that are possible so it would be difficult to diagnosis without viewing it and running some tests.
Infection of some sort. Go see a doctor. I´m very sure it can be treated with correct antibiotics.

If your vagina smelled rotton it sounds to me like a yeast infection, possibly bad uti as well. Usually you'll know if you have a uti, feels like peeing fire / razor blades. Besides going to the doc (highly recommended) you can try using a bland yogurt with crushed acidophilus pills to help restore the vaginal pH. Drink lots of water, avoid sugars, and drink unsweetened cranberry juice. Remember you have a shorter urethra now.. also avoid taking actual baths as that can increase the chances.
Or just google help for vaginal yeast infections, you'll see similar symptoms, and their cures. And of course... see your doc.
What is your body temperature ? Infection cannot go without it unless you're on some kind of the antibiotic pills.

Yeah well actually I had this swelling in my urethra. But when I asked the clinic where I underwent the surgery, they just told me that it caused by sitting position. The other day I had these two new small wounds in the urethra area, and they were bleeding (I asked the clinic again but they convinced me that it's nothing to worry about). But started yesterday, I noticed that my urine stream was different than usual, so this morning I figured out that one of the wounds turned into a swelling near the pee hole :(

Is it safe to see a doctor although it's just a month after I undergone the surgery?

Just make sure, that doctor doensn´t do any iternal examinations.
And in anycase, infection the doctor should be able to determine from lab tests and just by looking, no touching.
Dont let the doc touch you, and tell it why not!
I've seen a dermatologist today, and I was diagnosed with infection. But the doctor hasn't prescribed any medicine yet. Otherwise, I was given a recommendation letter to a local surgeon to get an examination whether the infection was caused by opened stitches or something
