...Clark, and he is a Yellow Lab. I have goldfish, I just call them "the fish." What kind of pet do you have?
Clark seems to be a great name for a lab :)
i have two rescue pets - a dog and a cat. their names are Lora and Šiūšas (pronounced shiooshas and meaning someone cute and fuzzy). their picture is in a pet picture thread :)
I had a bichon named Simon. We rescued him from the pound and he was afraid of everything. With a lot of time and a lot of love he finally came around. He died a few years ago - I still miss him.
Julie
I have 3 Cats, 2 Females; Emma a Tux (B/W) that was a stray-she "chose" our house, May May a Tabby that a neighbor didn't want, and Male Sato Ichi (aka evil Ninja Master) a blind (yes, hence the name) Balinese Siamese that I got from a rescue org. My "kids"!
I have a black n white 8 year old moggie cat called flossie and a 1 year old tortoise shell persian kitten called holly :)
flossie is the sweetest thing but holly is trouble haha (she's bound to be, she's MY kitten)
I have a puppy, a jack russell/dachshund mix. He's a handful too. His name is Jake, but I mostly call him poopee dog or poopers. Its my first dog too.
(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi686.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fvv228%2Fjaime_r_d%2FDSCN4192a.jpg&hash=fa754c8a7c4dc931ef8b61a64575941234a301d0)
I've got 3 kittens. Rollei(tortoise shell), Yashica(buff tabby), and Sarah(grey and white). I found Rollei when she was about a week old abandoned in my garage so i was feeding her and her 3 siblings with a medicine dropper before their eyes were even open. I found Yashica about 3 weeks old behind my house (mom had gotten picked up by the pound) and Sarah had gotten attacked by her previous owners dogs and hurt pretty badly so I took her and got her fixed up. So they're all kinda rescue cats. I call them my little monkeys because they're always running around like little idiots jumping all over things and climbing stuff lol. I wouldn't have it any other way though, they're my furry kids :)
I have a Corgi/Husky/German Shepard/????? named Jasper.
What a strange mix! Hes my baby. I love him. He is the biggest he will get, but his parents were a lot bigger than him. I went to a garage sale one day and saw 5 other dogs like Jasper and the lady that was having the garage sale said they were for sale and I picked out Jasper. I'm so glad I did :D
sorry for the crappy quality, they were taken with my phone.

My pets name is Cleopatra and she's a tarantula. I did have two others recently but they both died :(
I had 6 when I was very small and a cat called Puddleduck and some fish but that was a good few years ago now.
Id love a dog but my Mum really doesnt like them, so when I move out maybe...
Fiyero and Moo-baby.
They are tuxedo cats and brothers.
I also have an annoying Quaker parrot named Iago.
We tend to keep insects and small crustaceans, and we don't usually name them.
My daughter had a betta fish for awhile named Katana, though, and before we moved she had a tarantula named Sooze. Her first pet was a betta named Computer. That one died when she decided to snuggle with it. Then she made up "I'm sorry" songs and poems for a couple years. It was such a weird saga. Lol so no mammals in my house.
She's been carrying around a toy kitten named Mittens for a few days. :)
A hamster called Zaspi.
OMG it's adorable. I thought hamsters were smaller and squatter than that. Is that Zaspi?
I love animals! Please say 'Hi' to them for me. :)
I love all the pictures.
I have a kitty named Scout.Scout is a very nice kitty.
My family has three cats, Storm, Moses, and Jewel. Storm is the stuck up queen bee, Moses is the fat and lazy one, and Jewel is the troublemaker baby cat. :) We also have a guniea pig named Static but I can't go near him because I break out in hives :(
My only pet is Rupert my dog, I used to only have rodents but since getting Rupert I never got anymore. We got him from Battersea dogs home at 6 months old and he already had his name, we thought a little bit about naming him ourselves but Rupert suited him.

I think it's usually good not to rename adopted animals.
So this thread keeps putting this song in my head, but it's not on youtube so I can't link a video.

Lol I totally understand. XD
Edwin is really cute. What are male cats like? I sort of half-know a female cat and she is quiet skittish.

So this would be our gaggle of hairy miscreants.
From left to right:
Dazzle (12 y/o) aka Bag (as in the ol bag) and that face about sums up her personality. She is an old queen bitch and make sure all the younger ones are in check.
Sasha (19 months) aka Sasha Bear, or Sashalittle>-bleeped-<. Blisteringly intelligent, cute and evil... especially evil.
Zed (11 y/o) He is an old punk but melts like butter when you scratch that spot on his tummy or butt.
Ripley (6 y/o) aka blondie or zippy the pinhead. She is adorable and at times dumb as a fencepost, but probably the most loyal of the lot.
Graham (19 month old) aka Grammy or Hamster. He is Sashas brother whom has already earned his chamionship before he was a year old. He is now a 60 pound bag of goofy and love.

My father had a pair of twins that could be Edwin's brother and sister just with slightly longer hair. He named them Pumkin and Pie respectively (how original, I know....)
All the pets look really nice. :)
I want a puppy so much, but with my current housing, I can't have one. Well, I could, but that means I would have to live in a different area and it's full of kids. Little kids. The kid that drive me nuts. I already did my time raising my three brothers, I don't want to be around any more. But, I do have a baby pinstripe ball python named Viktor. He is now almost 9 months old.
I would post a pic, but a lot of folks get freaked out by snakes.
Post the picture! I love snakes. Hugs, Tracey
I have basically have two cats but the other one, called Vilsu, is living at my Mom's due to previous circumstances.
The one who lives with me and my fiancé is called Paavo and he's actually Vilsu's kitten. :)
Vilsu and Paavo are actually shorter versions of their "official" names, Vilttitossu and Paavo-Aukusti (I have a weird urge to give my pets some weird names). :D
I have a fat cat named Ash. She was named after the protagonist from the Evil Dead series. Partly because she likes to hunt dead things, but mainly because Bruce Campbell is a winner. She's my baby.

gorgeous dogs, what breed are they? and how did you get them to all be in a line like that for the picture? lol
I have one cat named Topper.
I want a cat. I don't have the money or the space, and I don't want to be hindered when I try to find another apartment, but I still want a cat. :P
You can borrow mine Felix. All she does now is sleep and laps the juice off of food now lol. :)
I have two dogs.

And Chomper, though I don't have a picture of her. She's a lab/rottweiler mix.
There's also Snowflake and Marshmallow the mice and Roxie the hamster.
My cat's name is Isis :).
I have a calico cat named Tiger and an Aussie pup named Teo.
My dog's name is Archie.
Goose - Rainbow lorikeet
Pippin - Scaly breasted lorikeet
Muffin Pants - cat
Maus - cat
Minny - cat

My cat's name is Fuzzy. She kind of ended up with it by accident after she got used to me calling her "fuzzball" and "fuzzy thing" while we were deciding on a name.
My two cats- Luna and Gemini (gem for short).
Three dogs- Blue a golden retriever, Finn a border collie, and teddy a jack russel.
Six horses- Moose, Luca, Frankie, Jasper, Willow and Fudge.

I have Snick, Tillie, Marius, Mardi, Dandy, Carlee, Maggie, Shadey, Soir, Noor, Annie, Nellie, Seeley, Ezra, Mosey, Obie, Finn, and Judd. Planning to add Rainey and possibly Gracie.
I want to hug every single one of them. God I miss having mammals around. I just got all the spider jars off my bed.
Coma and Simon. Cats. And yes, they both fit their names.
simon or psyman = Psychotic (klepto)Maniac. haha... yeah... he's really outgoing too. He likes everyone.
coma is a lazy fart that sleeps a lot. He even sleeps outside.. I think. I don't know for sure, I can never find him. xD Originally named Coma because when he was a kitten, he was sleeping with his eyes open, and he wasn't moving.
They don't get along when Simon is hyper. lol. But when they sleep, they like sleeping together.
I have a grey long haired cat that I call Fluffy Kitty. Sometimes she looks quite chubby because she is so furry.
I have a lot of pets so here's a list:
Dog: Harley Quinn
Rabbit: Gumdrop
Fish:
- Tetra 1
- Tetra 2
- Tetra 3
- Tetra 4
- Tetra 5
- Molly
- Jacque 1
- Jacque 2
Hermit Crabs:
- Viktor
- Harry
- Ron
- Lupin
- Tonks
- Norbert
- Cedric
- Pig
- Fred
- George
- Katniss
- Peeta
- X
- Spunky
- Anubis
- Sekhmet
I can tell almost all of the hermit crabs apart. I plan on getting detailed pictures of each one so I can watch them through their molts.
I have four cats.
1) Name: Panda, "Breed": Domestic Long Hair, Color: Black and white,
2) Name: Momma Cat ( she had, over, 25 kittens, before, I could get her spayed. Yes, I did, finally, many years ago. I re-homed, all, but one of her offspring), "Breed": Domestic Short Hair, Color: Tabby and White.
3) Name: Shadow (Momma cats, biological daughter), "Breed": Domestic Short Hair, Color: Tabby and White.
4) Name: Loki, Breed: F3 Savannah cat, Color: Nonstandard, he is Red Spotted.
I will add picture's, when, allowed. Where should I post, kitty photo's anyway?

My sisters is Audrey 6 and a lavender Birman. Her and cheeky are from the same litter. Quite regal except when it comes for food, then she just stares at you till she gets some
My mums cat is called George he is one and a half. We aren't sure what breed he is but he is a big boy and looks like a snow leopard. Not the smartest and a bit of a klutz, but he is a big character

And of course my dear corgies Molly jane and Ruby Rose. They are my darling girls.
One dog - answers to "Red".
Four cats - Daisy, Lil, Sweetpea, and Tex (don't necessarily answer to anything...)
Four fuzz balls that really like self propelled cat toys
The oldest is Brooke, then Missy,Luna (either it's because she's all black or it's short for lunatic,or maybe a combination of both) and the newest member is named Snuggles. (Cuddly little male kitten)
I got a puppy named jojo :D
My Beta Fish is named Sasuke, and no i don't like Naruto.
A dog called: Fluga/The Whippet/Minger/Ming Ming/Scrawny/Brain Damage/Whippy/Bag o' Bones
Two horses, called Darri/His Royal Pinkness and Ösp
A cat called Wizzy/Flea bag/Furry Little Sh!t Machine

And we have Alexander (McQueen) and Opossum still <3
And I have 2 10 gallon fresh water tanks and 1 20 that I'm getting ready to put some fish in.

x1 leopard gecko called Na'Toth (after the attache of G'Kar on Babylon 5 XP)
x2 tarantulas, one called Floyd (Mexican Pink Leg) and the other Krumm (Brazilian Black)
x1 Roborovski hamster called Londo
I seem to stockpile names in my brain, so I'm responsible for naming most of my sister's pets too. :P I suggest the names before she can stop me and then they stick (most of the time).
We have an animal at our house named Bones, who is part dog and part pig. No one is really sure who is whose pet. He ate a 2 pound roast beef the other day, stole it while it was resting on the cutting board.
We have two dogs, one is named Anubis (he reminded us of a jackal) and the other is Ace (named after Batman's dog).
We also have a cat named Snarf.

Anyanka (Anya for short), our mutt of mutts adopted from the streets of Italy from a mother who didn't have enough milk for her puppies.
The name comes from..... BUFFY! Yeah, that one super-duper awesome 90s show about vampire slayage. There's the vengeance demon character who comes in later seasons by the name of Anyanka. Fits our dogter perfectly. ;D
I have a pit bull named snupi and a jack russell mix named tyko (pronounced tico).
I gots a dwarf lop bunny named floppy. Cuz he gots floppy ears. :3
My dog has several names:
Starvin' Marvin (his real name)
Poopie (his main nickname)
Labragoat (for when he's climbing all over the place like a mountain goat)
Captain Chaos (for when he's trashing the place with his over exited nature)
We just have the 3 cats right now. They each have a "real" name and several nicknames.
Roscoe AKA Misterman and babyboy.
Jody AKA Mojojojo or "STOP THAT!"
Arie AKA Fluffpants and Noots (after her spay her fat pad sagged in a unique scrotum like manner.... just so happened to be watching a lot of South Park at the time and Cartmen was going to kick people "square in the noots")
I have a calico cat named Dixie and a beagle mixed with some other unknown breed named Bailey.
I have a terrier-cross named Eve.
I have a rottweiler named Roxy and a chocolate lab named Daisy. But those are family pets. My only real pet is my betta fish, he's bright red so I named him Swedish (get it? get it?? my family think's it's a stupid pun but I'm really easily amused so I find it hilarious) :P

I also have goats, one named Bubba, one named Butterscotch, and one named Cream, and rabbits named Blueboy, Bun, Silver, Changepurse, and Chatter. Also kitties, named Lucifer, Magus, Cassandra, Little Kitty, Teardrop, and Bleach. Oh, and a ferret named Um.
I have a lot of animals......
Oh, and a ferret
Aww so many cute names in here!
right now i only have one dog and one cat. my dog is a brindle pit mix and her name is kissy sprinkles. she is sucha diva. my cat is just a lil fat brown/white tabby and his name is kevin bacon. he is the most passive cat you will ever meet. i don't think he has realized he has claws yet.
OH GOSH. I have soooo many pets. I breed rabbits for a living but I also have non-bunny pets sooo...
Sasha: My 17lb ragdoll/siamese mix. I've had him since I was 11 and that was one of the most depressing things about moving away from my home in Oregon. I didn't get to take him with me because he's about 14 now and wouldn't have tolerated it well.
Colonel: My larger-than-average Sheltie. She's rambunctious but starting to get dog hip problems because she was so abnormally large for her breed.

I have a donkey named Belle, dogs named Copper, Jewel, Crystal, and Shea. Also hens, named Biscuit, Gravy, Goldilocks, Tesla, Henrietta, Pidgeon, and Sprite, and Roosters named Beast, Blackbeard, and Soot.
Wow , you really have many animal friends . I grew in the countryside so i used to have lots of animals around , i cared for anyone of them , the sad part was there comes a time when some of them are sacrificed. I still don't know how to deal with that , sometimes i avoid getting personal with them , sometimes i cherish them as much as i can and look at their sacrifce as some natural law. Best thing for me to do is to not live at a farm at all though , just get a pet or two .
Two cats. One is named Ripley aka Ripples the other is a Christmas kitty named Mistletoe aka Misty. Two dogs one named Morgan the other puppy is called Cookie.
We found an emaciated pomeranian in the cold december streets of chicago. My mom was going through a steven seagal phase (all gone now, blessed be the gods) and she named him Gino. Little yapping dog won me over in a heartbeat. All the feels! ;D

My girlfriend and I have two cats

The other one has had many many names throughout the years. Henry, Coupons, Baby Goat, Satan, but mostly on a daily basis we just call her Baby Kitten.
My dog's name is Sandy.

If anyone wants photos, just ask, haha.
I have an Alaskan Malamute nameed Gandalf

A cat named Mini Kitty
A cat named Cabernet
And a dog named Lexi.
Ohh two snakes :3 Elvis and Mona Lisa
Haha I love animals.
Aww! everybody talking about their animals makes me miss mine! I just moved out of my parents house and it was heartbreaking to leave my pets :( I have a white Pomeranian named Jeffree and an outdoor calico kitty named Cookie. My landlord and roommates don't allow pets but I want a cat sooo baddd! </3
...Tula who is a boy cat
...Earl who is a girl cat
Perhaps they are transgendered cats. dun dun dun....
I have 3 cats; Uzume who is a short tail Manx and two domestic short hair tabbys Cricket and Dio.
I'm thinking of getting a neutered cat and naming it Peeve.
Oh good. I'm not the only one with a butt load of animals ;D
Casper-Siamese cat
Ali-tortie shell cat
Kaysee, terrier mix
Merry and Pippin (Like from the Lord of the Rings)-Both rats.
My cat Felix, another cat named Tiny.
My friend in high school had a big orange tabby tomcat named "Battle Cat" (after the He-man cartoon cat) best, most bad-ass name ever.
I used to have a cat named Henry, but he ran away so many times, and the last time he never came back :icon_sadblinky:
But my brother's cat, Daisy, loves me more than him, so I consider her mine ;D
My sister also has a cat named Felix

Aww, sorry about Henry. :( I had two of my cats disappear earlier this year, too, so I can relate.
I still have 3 other lovely pets, though :) There's Renie, who I named after Rini from the Sailor Moon anime - she's a miniature dachshund, and she's at least 14 years old now.
Then there are my other two cats who still hang around: Joey and Alite (who I just call Ali lol). Joey being a black/white tuxedo cat, and Ali being a brown tabby. (Ali is also the Mama of Joey)
I have four rats: Basil, Manuel, Tyrion 'Imp' and Archimedes, A bengal cat named Macallan (Macsi for short), Three chickens: Korma, Jalfrezi and... Henrietta... my little sister named that one ... aaand a tarantula named Morticia. Until recently I had two bengals but poor Talisker got hit by a car and Archimedes' brother, Cicero passed very suddenly two months back while I was away having an op :(
Funny thing is, both cats were terrified of my rats...
We have three kitties; two are girls, their names are MissyMay (she's part Siamese) and Jo Jo (she's part Bengal). And one male; his name is Izzy, and he's a black tabby.
I have a large house cat. He is an orange tabby with an orange nose and orange eyes. I named him Simba because he reminds of the lion cub in The Lion King. He reminds of a lion cub. He is the best cat I ever had up to now. He is 7 years old at this point in time.
I have a 1 year old grey and white cat named Matilda.
I originally named her after the main character in my favorite Roald Dahl book, but discovered a little later that it was a name that meant might/power. A suiting name since she survived severe starvation and dangerous flooding before we found her. And the boldness she displayed by walking right up to us as we sat on the backyard porch.
Nugget, a blue tongue Skink.
He hates everything but we love him.
I had a dog named Roxas. I gave custody of him to my Mom when I joined the military. While I was in he went blind, so he still lives with her because I'm not going to make him learn a new place to live. My Mom approves because it means I visit more often.

It's 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... As a side note I know a guy who has a maog named Barf. That's a half man half dog. I'm told he's his own best friend. *queue Space-Balls music*
On a more realavant note I love cats and dogs but I'm severely allergic. I'd like to have a Siamese cat named "maiw." My significant other tells me that's how you say "cat" in Thai. That or "Poot-KEY" which mean "have to poo." It's a little 5-year-old but it makes us smile. My significant other is Thai in case you were wondering what's with all the Thai.
Yay Spaceballs!
........ Boofhead. And such a loveable cat he is.
Pet names? Ok. Grab a cuppa and have a seat, we'll be here a while! :D
I have sort of a revolving door atm and am known to be something of a "rat rescuer". Yes, RAT rescuer! They are cute and snuggly (at times) and smart and really very clean!
Since I started two years ago I have gone through a few older rats from the shelters and re-homings.
Currently I have 5. They are Dax, Jadzia, Ezri, Wookie, and Ewok. (Points to who notices the theme here.)
Previous ones that are across the Rainbow Bridge are Dumbledore, Nellie, Kira, Icheb, T'Pol, Janeway, Tiberius, and Guinan.
Mostly girls, Tiberius was my lone male, and he was fixed because rats breed faster than rabbits! I won't bore you with the long tale of tails as to how or why I got the first or the others, but they are my babies and i am their willing slave.
My baby girl Sunny. She is a Golden Retriever who loves me to tears. She cries with joy when she sees me. I had a hard trail but she always loves me, good medicine.
My cat's name is Toby. I've had him for 14 years, since I was a teenager and I am 31 now :) He's been through a lot with me... from moving out of parents house first time, to me getting married, me getting divorced, all my relationships, tough times, happy times...been through a lot with him, too...from his fleas, him getting injured by fighting when he was a stud walking the streets, and when he cost me $500 in vet bills when he attacked a chow and a smaller dog, can't remember what kind it was.. think it was mixed... anyhow, he's now an all indoor kitty for half his life now :)
And here's a picture of what he does best (sleep) lol

My bff's cat is named Captain Dingleberries XD His mom named the cat
Dog:
Sparkie. My husband calls her doofus and knucklehead and she loves it. She loves any sort of attention and is such a lover! Every time we come home she meets us at the door with one of her toys as a present to us for returning safely.
Cats:
Nina. I refer to as football when she comes to bed and lays on my chest while I try to read.
Patti and Tessa. Their real names are unpronounceable as they are Whovian and deep math extracts. When I saw them as kittens in the pet shop they were playing together and I didn't have the heart to separate them.
I am (depending on the season) more or less allergic to furry creatures. This does not mean I don't like them, but it's difficult to be around. It's been this way all my life, worse as I was younger, to the point where I couldn't even be in the same room...
So still desiring a companion I accidentally ended up rescuing an injured snake. And thus began my lifelong hobby/passion of rescuing injured and unwanted reptiles. I'm way down (which I consider a good thing) on my menagerie currently, with my main scaly friend being Argo, a roughneck monitor. I have a pair of long-term abused (prior owner) ball pythons named Pokey and Gumby. They are doing much better under my care, but will probably never be given a new home.
Argo has the run of my place, and generally plays Godzilla when it's hungry.
Ah, someone of the same heart 8) All of my pets have been abused rescues, I currently have an Iguana that I've had for nine years now and yes, she is rather good at getting her Godzilla on when hungry :)

I used to have a pair of iguanas too. I referred to it as "Godzilla, the Home Game". They would climb the drapes and run across the top of the shelves knocking over anything up there.
3 kitties: Casper, Jett and CeeCee. 1 dog: Hannah. 1 snake: Cooper. 2 adult firebelly toads: Bob, the other one doesn't have a name. 38 baby toads. Saltwater fish: Sunny, Bruce, Lance, Sally, Flotsom and Jetsom.
Whew...
Speaking of Iguanas, I rescued one from near death many decades ago and he was the smartest lizard I have ever known. For starters, even though he was a full grown adult, I was able to potty train him in just one session. He had to go rather badly, and was climbing the walls of his tank so I took him out, guided him into the bathroom onto the newspaper I had laid down, and gently held him there until he went. That was all it took, after that, I never had to worry because when he needed to go, he'd go to the bathroom...to go to the bathroom. Amazing creature. He *loved* green peas, so much so that I'd have to bury them under the rest of his vegetables otherwise he'd eat only those. I bough so many different vegetables at the local Kroger that they all thought I was a vegetarian. Only thing Big Ig (yes, that was his name, I am bad with names) didn't like, was bananas, which is something that surprised me, as everything I had read said they loved them.
Supercalafradgelisticexpeladocious. She's a kitten.
My cat's name is Jet
Currently I have a small dog named Mya, a large dog named Cody and a Bearded Dragon named Toothless. I used to have a fish we called Henry because I never really named him, but he died a few days ago unfortunately.

I have a black and white cat named Miss Sydney. She turned up one day at my door, said, 'Hi I'm your new cat,' and walked in the house like she owned it.
I also feed a number of elderly down on their luck cats that have been abandoned by their owners. Some of them were shockingly thin when they finally made their way to my door, but most of them are looking much better now. I told my daughter that I'm a cat lady in training which made her laugh.
...Ricky. He is a six year old Havanese. He has helped me through hard times. When I'm crying, he comes over to lick my face. When I come home, he is the first one to greet me. He never gets tired of me. We play together and go for walks. He likes to sprawl out on the floor, rubbing against my legs. It is hard to describe exactly what he does, but it is very funny to watch.
Ricky is my best friend. Without him, I would feel very alone. I am so thankful to have Ricky in my life.

Also, Jaime, I love your dog's ears [emoji5]

Booberry Pancake Flop. He is my cutie patutti, American blue kitty. I had at one point rescued a tabby and named him slushie, who was side swiped and was curled up by the fence in a park. From the vet visit, found he was blind and well just a little bruised up. Had nursed him back to health and he was up and playing and being a healthy kitty. Couldn't keep him for too long though as I had moved a lot while I was out in Augusta Georgia and had adopted him out to a cute elderly couple.

Such a gorgeous cat! Lovely fur, I've been tempted to get a long haired one myself but his hair must get on everything! D:
Haha, the fur is not so bad, she doesn't moult that much and she's kept well groomed. Maine Coons love the water so bathing her is no problem. The Dog on the other hand...
Our critters, in order of how long they've been hanging out with us, are:
Killbox - a previously not so big but now over 6tf long, 5 year old corn/rat snake cross (we think). Don't let the name fool you, he's a super-chilled cutie!
Ben & Pepper - 2 lovely 4 year old royal pythons who we rescued from a woman who couldn't look after them properly. Super casual and lovely things, if a little 'strike happy' when they're hungry and my hands are in the vicinity.
Podge - A black & white lop bunny & Bonsai - A white & black English dwarf bunny. They've been with us about 6 months now, live in the house, and are the fluffiest, most destructive balls of gorgeousness you could hope to have leaving little poo balls all over the floor!
Katnis. Calico cat. She's 5 years old.
Our family has a 3-year-old long-haired black-and-cream miniature Dachshund named Tucker. He loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses! :-* Before we got him, I was actually terrified of dogs. Now, I can't imagine my life without him! I will definitely be posting a picture of him once I accumulate more posts.
You can post Tucker now, the photo restriction is for an avatar picture. :)
Hugs, Devlyn
My Australian Shepard is a sweet companion and is a great ice breaker when meeting people. When we go out to the dog park and people inquire I say their name is Emmy Lou or Emmet as they are transgender ;D Yes they had an orchiectomy, get mounted by other male dogs and squat to pee. Such a lovable dog!
Our cat is a burmese mix and wants to live in my lap and is named Kindred.
Here is my sweet lil' Tucker!

I had another cat arrive and tell me he lives here now. He's a black cat and his name is Jake. He used to belong to some neighbours who didn't treat him very well and left him behind when they moved out. He looks an absolute thug of a tom cat due to having been mistreated, but he has the sweetest tenor meow you've ever heard and he's very friendly which is amazing after what he's been through. He's very much an outdoor cat and doesn't want to come inside the house, but our yard is now home and that's just fine with me.
My cat is Lynette. All of my cats have been named after female criminals whose names begin with the letter "L." Lynette is named after Manson family member and attempted Presidential assassin Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme. "Squeaky" seemed appropriate because of the sounds she made when she was a kitten. Her predecessors were Lizzie Borden and Long Island Lolita.
My BBM dog is named Charlie. I didn't name him that though, his previous owner did and it just sort of stuck.
My hermit crab, her name is Mory (yes, she is a she) and my RES turtle, his name is Haunu (pronounced HA-nuu).
This thread is all the adorable X

Ooh ooh, pet thread! Here is my evil cat, named (by the cat shelter) Foxy, after Foxy Knoxy. She is so fluffy but also known around our house as the Lady of certain doom.

Threw whim a little party on his 1st birthday :) that hat only lased 2 seconds, that was a tricky photo to take :D
This guy is an example of why so many cats in cartoons are black and white ones.
He's a total clown :D
He also understands english as well as any golden retriever.
And makes eye contact with people.
And the sweetest kitty on earth, I woke up in the middle of the night last night to this soft touching on my arm. I cracked my eye open and saw he was petting ME. No claws, just occasionally a few little gentile pets with his paw as he laid there. It was great!
I've been REALLY stressed lately, right on the threshold of starting counseling and hrt and that, scheduled the appt on the 29th. But I've also been riding a real roller coaster freaking out.
My sweet kitty was consciously petting me because he wants me to feel better.
He is my guardian angel.
I would not be alive if it wasn't for Stitch. :D

I've been tempted to get a long haired one myself but his hair must get on everything! D:
Yes, long hair gets EVERYWHERE with my kitty.
But I have had plenty of short hair cats that do their share of shedding too.
But my kitty, Stitch, has like 3 cats worth of fur on his body. Adult and kitten fur still 4 years later.
The kitten fur are these super-thin long hairs that can get caught in a throat or eye.
I got an infection under my eyelid last summer because one of those long thin hairs got caught in there.
It felt sooooooooo weird pulling it out from under my eyelid, it didn't so much "hurt", but yes, as "ooooky" weird as you can imagine pulling a long cat hair from under an eyelid.
But I would not give Stitch up for anything.
I'd cut an arm off for that cat. He's my child.
My dogs name is Indie.
He will turn 15 next month and he is a croatian street dog we found when he was around 6 weeks old.
He looks like a german sherpard that was laundered to hot. (Not sure if this is the correct expression in english)
I live with an 11 year old brindle coloured Bull Terrier named Danny.
Danny had a rough beginning after being abandoned as a little puppy by his owner. The man's sister hadn't heard from her brother who lived in the Bronx and the phone wasn't in service so she goes to see him. The superintendent said he had checked into a rehab but if she wanted his mangy mutt, it was tied up out back. Danny, who was called Rocky (how original) was tied to a tree, had knocked his water bowl over, was skinny and sunburned not to mention had a bad case of (totally treatable) mange.
I have no idea how she found out about the rescue group but she called the New York representative who put her in touch with someone else in Rochester. Each one drove to meet the other and they met in Binghampton, NY. There Danny was signed over to rescue. Apparently, he was so bad, that the lady's husband would not touch him and if you did, your hand came away with blood and pus.
Danny spent quite a bit of time being nursed back to health and eventually was able to travel. In the mean time, our old dog had died at 14 and we were looking for a rescue dog and Danny came into our lives.
His name was changed to Danny, in honour of the man's sister, Dani who literally saved his little doggy life.
Danny met up with the lady from Rochester a few times and dogs do remember!! His tail was wagging so fast it was invisible and almost lifted him off the ground and he wiggled so much and spun around in happiness.
Danny was 10 months old when we got him, 35 pounds, a full 1/4 of his fur missing. Today he weighs in at 65 pounds, has 99% of his fur back and is a happy little (!) dog again.
For all of Danny's benefactors, he gave them a red maple leaf pin edged in gold as a way of saying thank you for saving my life.
Someone asked me if he came from the Bronx, does he bark with an accent?
He is a lucky dog and when he came to us he was told he had won the doggy lottery!
Love you Danny.
Love,
Clare

I have two cats, Spike and Drusilla. I also have a 14 pound terrorizing dog named Sebastian. He is a boston terrier/chihuahua mix and cute as a button!
His name is "Shopkat" because he hangs around my art studio with me :)
In the evening he always curls up and falls asleep like this when I'm watching tv,

I have a tabby cat named Sophie-Lee. she is my fur-baby and turns 6 this month.
I have a black cat named Boo. He came with the name and it stuck, but I tend to call him the raptorcat because he's learned to open doors. He's too clever by half and nearly five years old now.
