Title: Nervous about Passover Seder tonight
Post by: Bombadil on April 15, 2014, 02:11:49 PM
I don't have contact with my FOO (family of origin) and a Jewish friend of mine always makes sure to invite me to Passover. I've gone for years now. I'm nervous about tonight. I've been through so many changes in the last year and most of these people I haven't seen in a year. I have clothes picked out and I want to wear them but they are definitely male clothes. I haven't told them about transitioning. I don't want to make a big deal out of it.

I can't even bring the charoset (a special seder dish) that I've brought every year because my hand injury prevented me from making it. So I feel even more awkward and out of sorts.

I guess that's it.
