The sanity of humanity is at very low levels right now. Looking down, from the heavens above, the year 3000, gives an appropriate lens, at the age-range of humanity. Very flocky, very primitive, the year 2018.
I will keep it simple.
1. Primitive ape race that cares what bathrooms it goes in and allows other apes to go in.
2. Primitive ape race that believes in tabula rasa and that the human race, made of genes, yet is not primarily dominated by genes, that brains, are powered by a mystical tabula rasa force, solely to digest information, which was also caused by mystical tabula rasa force.
3. Primitive ape race that feels shame at sexuality and shames those who have natural libidinal needs.
4. Workholic race that eats primarily, food tainted with artificially synthesized toxins.
5. Ape race that dumps severe toxins in lakes - plague species.
6. Severe punishments for natural: genetic, urges.
7. Inconsistent, unmappable, and nonsensical social dynamics.
8. Warped gender behaviors that are not exactly reflected in most animal species.
9. Obsession with clothing to hide nudity, despite clothing being a downgrade from more primitive clothing fashions.
10. Belief in the unproven, and the nonsensical.
11. Obsession with small-talk, despite having no significance to the cosmos, in addition to very little healing or entertainment value.
12. Inadequate understanding of healing methods, genetic modifications, and medicines, and much medicinal research censored or outlawed setting the society backwards. Nonsensically, apes in 2018 walk around feeling trapped within avatars they do not wish to be in, feeling ugly and causing all manner of social malfunction. Ironically, in the year 3000 this can all be remedied by the simple press of a button. Gender has very little weight at this time, since gender can be changed and applied at whim, as well as metaspecies.
These, the 12 commandments of dumb.
The more things change the more they stay the same. It's hard to imagine humanity being all that different in the year 3000 than it was in 1000.
