Title: Adding Depth....
Post by: madsen0yea on February 16, 2017, 10:58:51 PM
I had SRS with Dr. Nguyen on 12 Jan, and I loved the work he did. But I'm not excited about the depth. Post op, before swelling went down I was 5.5" and now I am some where between 4.25 and 4.75...

My understanding is this depth is normal. But is there a way to increase it. Either surgically or non surgically?

I've heard of women getting up to an inch in depth by dilating really seriously, being careful not to injure yourself. It might not be too late for that.

Later on you can increase depth using the colon technique, but it's expensive and quite serious surgery.

I'm hoping it's not to late. I see my surgeon for a follow up next week.
Anything that's serious surgery will have to wait a few years 😑

I'm slowly gaining my depth back from similar loss as yours. I had a solid 5" leaving the hospital, but lost a lot, maybe as little as 3.5" depth (had some bad swelling early in recovery)

Just keep gently pushing harder using static pressure and slight rotation back amd forth, about a quarter turn in each direction while  pressing as hard as you can tolerate without causing too much pain. I use different diameter dilators, the narrower ones work better for getting initial depth, then dilating further using larger toys as needed.

I'm probably 3-6 months from getting back to the original depth and hopefully it will stretch even further. but I am also trying to get more width also. It gets sore when I push it, so usually I only stretch every few days or until I am no longer sore, accounting for sex, because I don't want sex to be painful :/

good luck!

First, people measure depth  differently. The proper way to measure is the depth it enters the vagina, many people measure it ftom the labia majora. This can account for 1/2 an inch.

In Thailand that first measurement inside the vagina normally represents the depth you can expect. Swelling will be in the labia majora not the entry area to the vagina as you look from the top entry point.

If you had 5.5 then you should be able to regain that depth. Dilate more often and apply pressure using one finger, its not likly to cause any harm if you apply constant pressure. Use alot of lubrication. You will get the 5.5 back. Each time you use a larger dilator you will initially lose depth. Preservere and you will get the depth back.

I had  lady, who my foundation assisted, and she had 6 ins plus and it became 4.5 because she felt pain. She has now regained depth to almost 6ins again with persistant dilation.

There tends to be scar tissue towards the end inside the vagina because thats where the new vagina is attached to the vagina inside. Scar tissue can hurt more to stretch.

I'm 11 weeks post op. I also had 5" when I came home from surgery and then dropped to under 4.5 after the swelling went down.
By using the 1/4 turn method and maintaining pressure I'm back up to my original depth. I maintain a steady pressure just short of causing any pain.
