Title: Attraction of males towards you after being on hrt for months?
Post by: Drexy/Drex on July 08, 2018, 12:49:35 AM
Hi just curious ,have men's behaviour changed towards you if your not out ?
I'm finding that there may be pheromones at play here , I've had FFS and now the interaction is even more noticeable ....some guys get quite chatty with me and I have to be careful not to flirt with them ....but definitely get stares etc ....but then I'm in a camp of up 800 people 95 % of which are men .....it's really weird because I'm away about the pheromones effect and they are not.....

They have done some research on human pheromones by having people use non perfumed products to clean with then wear a T shirt that's placed in a bucket. People then sniffed the bucket and determined the gender of the person who worn it. The results showed people could determine the gender but they claimed there wasn't a sexual attraction.

Because the test were run in a lab environment, the people may not have freely associated like they might in a social environment. Your not the first to notice this and it possible an interested researcher could learn a great deal about human relations from us.

Yes I agree they could there is something  there because o observed
a simlier phenomena  with women when I was using  testosterone
there seems to be some type of primal perception  that runs without the conscious  mind being aware

One person whom I know has not made it hidden since I started hormones he is attracted to me, I'm flattered but as I told him I don't like males romantically, only as a friend but that's the only example I've got of such a scenario.

Hi TranSketch,                  14 July 2018

I'm with you 200%; males OK as friends; as lovers, no way. If I were reincarnated and came back as a woman, knowing what I know now, I would be a lesbian, which is what I now consider myself to be.

Best Always, Love,
Christine

Being Bisexual anyway I don't mind if men are more interested in me. I have noticed I get more attention from men as stuff changes in the right direction. As it happens I'm working on a potential relationship with a trans women so I guess for now I land on the lesbian side I suppose.

I think the guy who likes me is bi so I don't know whether he likes me when presenting as female or because he likes me as a guy.

I don't know about attraction but I noticed a big change how cis guys treated me after about 3 months on hrt. My brother's friends are all hetero cis guys. Pretty much typical muscle headed jocks. They knew me as a boy for years. They were never mean to me but they would sometimes mess with me in annoying ways. That stopped after I started hrt. Their behavior around me was different after I started hrt and I found it to be a little weird actually. They suddenly seemed self conscious around me. One thing they did was try to out fart each other. They tried for the loudest fart. They thought it was hilarious when I would tell them how nasty they were. After hrt one day one of them farted loudly.  But he told me sorry and actually looked embarrassed.  They also all started doing what I would describe as male show off behavior whenever I was around. Comparing muscles, trying to outbrag each other about how much weight they could lift, who was the best at fighting, etc.

I don't know if any of them found me attractive. If so they would never have admitted it. But based on their behavior I am inclined to think the had some kind of attraction to me. The only reason I can think of for their change in behavior is pheromones. I know hrt changes your odors. I think estrogen must produce some kind of primal odor that males are sensitive to. I also think higher testosterone levels increases the sensitivity to the pheromones or scent because I only noticed the show off behavior in young guys. Older guys were nicer to me after hrt but it's the younger guys who had the show off behavior.

I have a natural t of 300 and e of 80 and they notice me. Granted i am skinny, 5'6", have long red hair, and next to no facial hair. I think hormones play a big role in how we are treated.

I envy your lack of facial hair XD since HRT it grows slower but I still need to shave and concealer etc to hide it.

I have found that both cis-male and cis-females have been romantically interested in me.... I find that I am attracted to both as well.... for me it is more about the person than what kind of plumbing they may have.
None of them that I am aware of are anything but straight but where I live that is not unusual... also I am probably the only transwoman anyone here has met or even has seen...
...so I make a point of trying to fit in, get involved in local activities, be friendly and make new freinds, dress and act respectfully and conservatively.  I do not shove my trans status in anyone's face nor do I make a point of announcing that when meeting new people.

So, to answer the question posed in the Subject Line of this post....
YES, I find that males are definitely attracted to me... even well before I went full-time.

I'm a fairly slight male, with a somewhat smartass or ironical nature, take your pick, so in my younger days I was hit on not infrequently by some men.
I was always flattered, but never ecstatic, while when on estrogen, and fully dressed as a woman I received the odd compliment, from a man or woman, or a social nicety, my heat would flutter and I would be filled with joy from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. The only sexual reaction would be, I swear it's true, my nipples would get hard.
This caused me to come to the conclusion that this affirmation resonated in some fashion deep into the core of who I am.
And it was great fun.

I'm glad that you specified "even well before I went full-time" because it seems based on your photo  I assume many men would be interested.

I got really lucky even at 40 I don't have a brow, or thinning hair, I am short, and I have a ton to be thankful for. I still bought the lifetime facial and neck hair removal and I hope that it is gone before the end of the year.

As it stands I feel I need longer on HRT for better results as my current display picture is my most recent when presenting and I still feel there needs to be improvements to pass and generally be considered attractive enough to hit on XD
