Hi everyone. I find it interesting to hear what type of guys other women find attractive. So please tell us about the type of guy you find attractive. I realize many of the ladies here are only into women so share with us what kind of woman you're attracted to.
Personally I like tall muscular guys. If he's cute I don't really care about hair color. I do prefer guys with blue or green eyes though. Scruff is ok but a full beard or mustache is a deal breaker as are dreadlocks. Tattoos are really hot though. Nerd guys are fine as long as they don't look like nerds. Tristan can be nerdy sometimes. (He's all into comic books).
When i think about guys, it makes me feel more feminine to imagine the warm embrace of a muscular man, i also kinda find men with beards attractive...
But realistically idk, i think a more of a nerdy guy/girl? as i am quite geeky/nerdy myself
Can I just answer "My Wife" because, honestly, I don't look with that type of interest anywhere else.
In a broad spectrum, I suppose I could say: well kept ... overweight, underweight, tall, short, boobs, boobless. Doesn't matter unless you look like a slob .. or tramp. Sorry to any that like the style, I don't like the tramp look.

What exactly is a dad body anyway. I've heard that term before but I don't get what it means. My dads body is almost as jacked as Tristan and Tyler's bodies.

Realistically, probably also someone who is on the more intelligent side, but absolutely not someone who is a pseudo intellectual who only thinks they know what they are talking about while spouting regurgitated nonsense. (Ivy league degree is probably a negative in my book. ;D) A hardcore gamer with similar interests that I can play games with is a huge, huge plus. ;D
Though having said that, I've learned the importance of taking care of one's self the hard way after the years of depression, and so there is a reasonable limit to "looks" not mattering, in that I want people to at least be trying to better themselves physically, just for the sake of being healthy.

How about a good size belly, with love handles, and lots of hair all over his torso. Its a body that hides his true strength, and does not pose a threat or challenge to other males. That way, he is not expected to fight, although he could if he had to.

I agree with you about intelligence. I once dated a guy who was very pretty to look at but as dumb as a bag of hair. Tyler reffered to him as Einstein. I got lucky with Tristan. For me green or blue eyes always catch my eye and I tend towards darker hair colors. I am pretty flexible on a lot of the details though and am definitely a greedy type who isn't terribly particular in regards to gender. Personality is a huge thing, if I can't be their friend then I'm not likely to be interested in playing with each other's naughty bits.
However they do have to be independent, confident, and intelligent. I can't deal with somebody looking for a parent replacement, nor an idiot, and especially not somebody who has zero confidence.

I have to agree with the part about "parent replacement". When I was on dating sites, there were too many that wanted a milf, or a babysitter for their kids. I was looking for a relationship, not someone I had to take care of. Then, there are the gold diggers.

Weeeeellll... I'm a lesbian, and a bit genderqueer. I'm attracted to persons with a strong feminine aspect. Not necessarily femme, as I also find butch, bois, and some transmen attractive. It's the feminine aspect, combined with a kind, non-aggressive personality that gets me to start melting.
I should also note that I am demisexual, and really need a romantic connection before I can even get a sexual tingle. With this combination of traits, it takes a lot to get me going.

Right now my new lover does it perfectly for me.
She's intelligent, always high on my list, fit enough for scissoring to work well is a big plus.
Kisses well and likes to. Femme isn't a requirement but it certainly gets me going and I'm really only interested in men who have a prominent feminine side. I like long hair better than short, enough to take a handful.
Strong enough to be vulnerable, she opened up to me in the first minute we met. Not squeamish. Can take control or accept being lovingly controlled.
She's got some health issues, gets my protective side going right off.
Clearly a bit emotionally edgy, there's depth there and I don't see drama however I'm not afraid to engage someone with issues. God knows I have mine. The ability to engage when you know you're imperfect and go ahead anyway goes back to that vulnerability thing as well as shouts bravery. That really is dead sexy to me.

It's interesting to see what transitioning does to us. When I lived as a gay man I didn't really have a type (when it comes to physical appearance) but now I definitely want a guy who is taller than me, who is muscular or thick and strong and manly. Beard is a huge plus as well. I want a guy who is super masculine and can make me feel feminine.
In everyone I am attracted to healthy, natural bodies (no fake lips or tits, no mutilations). Tats/piercings are mostly icky. Minimal body hair, long scalp hair. Well groomed. Honest.
Girls I like to be confident, able to think for themselves, dominate without being bossy.
Guys I like to be somewhat fem, soft, round, submissive without being sissy.
Male or Female the main thing I look for is honesty. It's a big contributor to my 35 year marriage. I came from a broken marriage where I was lied to. My second wife has NEVER lied to me.
Never had a specific set of requirements, I'm not prejudiced, other than they better not be: a) insane b) a violent drunk or c) an incurable and excessive pessimist.
And d) I suppose they'll need to be able to handle my personality. If they like one-upmanship, it's going to be fiery hell.
I couldn't tell you what "look" I prefer in people. They're all different. There's always something new you've never seen before. Like hair color or height or whatever, that's just skin deep stuff and I am only interested in someone I'd want to commit to. They better have more than that going for them if you're gonna spend a lot of time with.

I don't care for tattoos at all myself, not even small ones, unless they have meaning. Not some bs meaning like "I got tattoo of a skull, because it reminds me we're all skeletons on the inside. #equality", but meaning like a cultural significance. Besides I probably don't have all that much time left anyway. I live a day at a time because I don't know if I'll have a tomorrow. That doesn't leave much time for romance.

I do see your point Laurie, for me it is a comfort thing for when i lonely, romantic feeling loved and needed I just want that for once some one holding me at night or holding my hand out in public kissing cuddling watching movies I so miss all that stuff I never had it as a real relationship

I'm actually not sure what kind of guys I find attractive. Cause oddly enough it seems that the more handsome a guy is to me, the less of a spark I'm likely to feel for him. I like the ragged old ones that no one seems to understand why I'm drawn towards, not even me, I just am somehow. I haven't figured out the reason behind that yet, but I think it has something to do with that I can't seem to be in love with and sexually attracted to the same types of guys. Or the same guy, for that matter. It's just either or.
So ultimately I kind of end up going with pretty much any kind of guy in which size, shape, age, or looks in general don't matter and I don't take into account. Only chemistry, communication and connection does. Cause those are the things that either makes me be into him or not. It's easy to find hookups that way, maybe too easy even, but I'm also known to have "no standards" and that I would "sleep with anyone who has a pulse" so yeah. And then all of my romantic/long term relationships end up being more or less completely asexual instead. Oh, well *deep sigh* to that, I guess.

Hmm I think you would have to really look to find a guy like that. In my experience most guys tend to be dominant with sex and expect their partner to be submissive. Or maybe it's just the type of guy I'm attracted to. I don't know for sure.

While its absolutely true people will surprise, unfortunately how we present ourselves does matter quite a bit (I think many of us here know that better than most), and the way these guys present just make me think of every jackass guy I've ever met. And it's certainly not an environment that breeds humility.
I do like guys, but I am definitely partial to a specific type of guy and it is very much a personality thing. You do have a point there. My brother is one of those guys who knows he's a hot guy. I love him dearly but yeah, he can be a concieted jackass who loves mirrors. Tristan is very hot himself and even did some modeling back in Australia but thankfully he's not concieted and is a bit humble. If he was as stuck on himself as Tyler I doubt our relationship would have worked. When I'm around concieted people I can't help trying to deflate their egos every chance I get. Just my smartass nature I guess.
I am attracted to men and women. What I find physically attractive in women is a pretty face and a curvy figure; and what I find physically attractive in men is rugged good looks and being height and weight proportional. Personality wise I am attracted to intelligence, humor, sensitivity, and someone who's down to earth.

Absolutely. If I guy didn't like animals that would be a deal breaker for me. Guys who enjoy hunting too. I realize hunting is the ultimate masculine activity but unless you live in some third world place or Alaska, its not necessary. Guys who hunt for "fun" and like killing animals totally do not appeal to me in any way.

My sister got married during the mid 80's and the day after the wedding I went to a party at her brother in laws house, and during th party my younger sister was talking with guy who told her that Patrick Swayze lived across the street, and asked my sister and her girlfriend if they would like to meet him, so I naturally asked if I could come with; anyway we walked up to the gate and the guy rang the buzzer and asked the person who answered if they could ask Patrick to come out to the gate, so he could meet a few of his friends. A couple minutes later Patrick Swayze walked up to the gate; he had been doing chores around his ranch, and was sweaty, dusty, and wearing hip waders. He was so incredibly warm, friendly, and one of the nicest guys you could meet!

Case in point: when Jennifer Lawrence goes off script and talks about how she's so glad she dropped out of school to be pretty and famous (admittedly paraphrased). It doesn't mean they aren't nice people in general certainly as well, but then that doesn't always extend to being good romance material (Ewan MacGregor or Ben McKenzie come to mind).
Though I would say that Swayze is a far cry from a lot of the pin up types, even if he may have been one of them at one point he definitely fits more with the artist (dancer in his case) who happens to be attractive mold. I appreciate a woman who's pleasing to look at, of course, who takes care of herself and presents herself well; but personality, intelligence and character are much more important to me than natural gifts. She's on the unapologetic side about that issue from what I've seen. It wasn't phrased quite as bad as I said it, but it really was the gist, though she didn't come out and say "Drop out of school, kids! You'll be better off!" or anything. Which I don't judge anyone for not completing school in the slightest, I mean I didn't do my own GED until I was 22, it's the calling to be an actress part that bothers me of it, as if she wasn't the tiniest of exceptions that were success stories. (And most child stars keep going to school regardless, so I thought it was a little odd she didn't. It's often even in contracts I believe is that minors have to be attending school.)
