9/15 to 11/15 meet with several terrible therapists during this time. One made me actually consider suicide.
10/15 (not sure when) I bought a waist trainer, a male waist trainer. I really like wearing it, because it feels like I'm being hugged all day and makes me look better. It also made my back pain go away.
11/13/15 spoke to my psychologist and got my hrt letter (described as true trans, but not hyper feminine.) Whatever that means.
11/14/15 had first laser hair removal for face/neck. 1,800 in 100 dollar monthly payments with free touch ups for life :)
11/22/15 ordered finasteride.
12/15 started working on my voice. I noticed that my testicles shrunk by close to a quarter or so smaller. It appears that i have foreskin because my penis is turtled in the bikin underware. My glans are turning a different color and are really sensitive. It's a good thing. I don't know if it is because I switched to bikini cut underwear or its from the Finasteride, because low doses of medicine work well for me. This has helped my GD incredibly.

12/23/15 I bought another waist trainer. This time a female one with shoulder straps. I like this even better, because it covers my entire upper body and the waist actually fits a lot better. It is more difficult to breath, but I don't care. I really like the getting hugged feeling. What I don't like it's that the hip portion doesn't fit, but there isn't as loose down there as I thought there would be.
12/24/15 going to work, somehow I slid sideways and the front end of my Suv was under the trailer of a semi. The trailer smashed my front end. I was able to finish driving to work and somehow controlled my anxiety. I am surprised that I did not pee my pants.
1/15 I had to buy new jeans because my pants were not fitting correctly. I am much skinnier now and i've gained weight in my thighs and butt. I have more cellulite. I realize now that I need hips. I now get wedgies, but they don't upset me like they use to. I wonder if eventually I will wear a thong? I do not know if i can wear a thong and tuck because of my endowment.
1/15/16 third laser treatment. Facial hair is now soft and 1/3 gone. I only had mustaches and chin hair. Hardly any hair on my cheeks to begin with. Bought another pair of jeans because there is no way to fit the old pants. Two are only 6 months old and I love it. I love the way I look in them and it makes so happy.
1/21/15 First Endo appointment
1/22/16 ordered Jayln (Tamsulosin and Dutasteride.) This is in addition to the Finasteride
1/30/16 I was super sad and life really got to me I am letting my feelings out and actually feel better afterwards. This is something new. I use to just cry into my pillow at night and sleep. Instead I went to bed happy. The chat feature on this site got me through it. I feel like I am in crisis mode. Damn bipolar with schizo effective disorder.

Why take dutasteride AND finasteride at the same time? Dutasteride is the same as finasteride except it's better in terms of DHT suppression. It will also atrophy your prostate gland on its own.

Finasteride inhibits type 2 alpha-reductase while dutasteride inhibits type 2 and type 1 which convert T to DHT. This is the first time I ever hear of someone taking both at the same time. You should do some research, find out for yourself if what I'm telling you is correct and perhaps question your doctor. Don't do/change anything before advising your doctor first and getting their consent.

I understand that mmv, but people's experience to me is very important also. This is new science and I know why doctor's are said to 'practice medicine' from some of my past experiences.

Yesterday I received my derma roller! I am suppose to use this where my hair recedes to aid the growth. I was informed by the nurse to use the 1mm needles. The laser people said that I can micro derm my face and neck, but only worth the .5mm roller.

Last Thursday night I went to Lasting Hope and today I was released. I had some medicine changes. Additions really.
While I was there I saw a psychologist who laughed at me when he learned that I was transitioning. How professional is that? Anyway the rest of the staff was nice and asked if I wanted to use Alice or my official name. I informed them that I want to be called by how I present myself.
Descrimination is alive and well.

Today I finally gained the courage to microderm the M pattern on my scalp to assist with hair growth. Not nearly as bad as I thought.

The "shedding" of my hair concerns me. I know it is a good thing, but now there is no way I am leaving the apartment without a hat. Also, only a couple shirts fit me now because I've lost so much size in my upper body.
It doesn't make sense to me why Finasteride and/or Dutasteride would make me lose so much upper body mass. My pants are tight in the hips, so I measured. My hips have grown! Also, more shrinkage in my shoulders and neck.
For perspective this shirt fit perfectly in December. Look at the shoulders.

Microdermed my front hairline again today. Hurt a lot more today and looks much more effective. Today I did not hear pops as I was rolling. Everything went smooth and it took 1/2 the time. Obviously the skin was tough and really needed the process.

Microdermed my front hairline again today. It did not hurt nearly as much as previous applications and blood was minimum. I am a bit upset about my measurements, but that is what happened when i did not stick to my diet. Damn you Valentines day/month! On Thursday I have another trip to see the Endo. :)

I received my blood test results today unfortunately no S or E because of other issues. I am glad that my levels are decent especially when i learned that Dutasteride can cause T to spike.
Estradiol is 39
Testosterone is 301
Prolactin 6.4
In other news i was told to lose 12 pounds. Oh well.

i noticed a huge difference on the skin on my face near my hairline an my forehead, so i decided that i will start microderming my full face and neck. It made the sun damage obvious on my forehead and it stands out.

HUGE DAY!!! Just in time for my birthday! The best birthday present in the world. Apparently I will be on Spiro and took my first dose today. Split dose every 12 hours. If no reaction I start on a small dose of E on Monday!
No more Finasteride. I'm still taking the Jayln and I've noticed that my shed has decreased, but not really any new hair growth that i can tell. it's only been a couple of months and I am impatient. That and I've not been using the Rogaine like a should. It really drys my skin and makes my hair curly. I am not sure if the curly hair is a good thing or not.

First dose of E! The pill dissolved in my mouth in a couple minutes.
I realized that my pants fit differently and today my hips measured the largest so far! I'm so happy!!!

Isn't it a pain (literally) when your nips start burning. The first time it happened to me and they turned a creamy white sort of like pimples. With your shirt rubbing against them only makes it worse. I've been on Spiro for 25 years for heart disease because they are a diuretic. So I've had a head start on conversion.

nipples keep getting more and more tender and puffy. my nipples are twice as large, getting thick, and the areola is growing larger as well. i can see swelling under my areola. my areoles are elliptical in shape.
my chest is still a male chest, but my nipples are definitely rising up. my chest is getting softer and not rock hard anymore. when i flex my chest it feels different and has different shape, but still clearly male.
my face is femmimg up nicely and is definitely becoming noticeable. face and neck electrolysis treatments continue. i had both ears pierced last week and learned my my ears are noticeably uneven. oh well. I'm gonna grow my hair out anyway, so it doesn't matter.

I am new to this thread. It looks like you have a lot of changes with Dutrasteride and Finasteride . I just started low dose Finasteride. I did not know any body changes were possible.

Yes I did! the doc ran an E test and it was 125 (at a different time of the month i tested 39) and T was 300 pre fin, dut, S, & e. He did not tell me then, but i found out. After i decided to transition my body kicked in i guess. That and i started to eat minimal red meat.
Lots of people noticed before i was ready! Changes started once i decided to transition. People knew something was up while on Fin and it was so noticeable once i switched to Dut. Other TG people began to introduced themselves once the meds kicked in and i started to wear tighter pants to fit my body. I wasn't hiding my wide hips and started walking comfortably, which apparently is a female walk.
Now that I've been on S & E for about 4 months my nephew, who supports my transition, commented on my butt and told my mother that it is OK for me to transition, because I'm going to be hot. He says that a couple of his friends want my number already. The neighbor doesn't talk sh*t anymore and stares at my butt when i am going up the stairs and holds the door. one of these days i think i will have him over to smoke.
Needless to say that my transition is happening must faster than i anticipated. it's been 6 months and i have to buy female pants because my andro jeans aren't doing it. that and my breast and nipples are obvious. i am thinking that i may not need a boob job. Male fail maybe coming sooner than anticipated, so i better work harder on my voice. I maybe presenting this fall.
Now, if I could figure out why i am depressed? i mean geez i have d*ck and smoke at will next door with a couple of attractive people who want my number. one even parties at a cabin at a lake close by. i should be next door or at the cabin. And best of all the transition is coming quickly.

I started fasting yesterday in hope of losing a ton of muscle. Good or bad it is going to happen until the end of the month.
I've moving from the eat anything diet (I've been so reckless) back to the Mediterranean Diet that I loved before my divorce.
