Apparently a lot of people are having difficulty with my transition at shul. Any advice on what to do from here?

Have patience, show them love.  Some people will come around, though some won't.  People won't change though if we all run away.

If it eventually gets unbearable, see if there's one nearby that is more accepting of LGBT members.

Good luck.   :)

So yes are people in my community who have a huge problem with my transition and that's one of things that have really gotten to me lately. I probably didn't come out in the best way either, so that didn't help, but I'm not really sure if going slower could have helped with the people most upset.
