 I took a picture outside my window of a red belly squirrel, they don't seem to come around very much anymore.

Cool. I was watching a little tribe of three or four squirrels the other day. They were moving down the street, leaping from tree branch to cable to tree branch to cable. The cables were pretty thick, but I still held my breath as the squirrels zoomed along them. Next time I run errands in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to go the back way so I can look for the fuzzy little critters.
Cute. Like his stance.
We get a lot of grey squirrels in England red ones are quite rare
Red squirrels are rare in Massachusetts, I shoot lots of grey ones though.
QuoteI shoot lots of grey ones though.
You mean you take pictures? Can I see some?
Yeah I grew up in Washington state and they have smaller ones with more of a yellow belly there.
Well squirrels can be cute and I have been known to feed them, they are very smart and can figure things out.
The problem is they are also very distructive. They have eaten wiring in our cars and cost us a lot of money.
No, I use a pellet rifle. Got about eighty squirrels last winter. I don't like House sparrows either.
I love squirrels, especially BBQ'd. j/k

We have some white ones and a few black ones here
Is it legal to have a squirrel as a pet? I mean you can have ferrets and gerbils.
I have had some eat my garden before, when I had a garden, but they can be deterred with various smells and plants and devices.
Not as bad as the Jack Rabbits that ate my watermelons though.
Depending on the state you have to have a special license to own a wild animal, which is what a squirrel is. Also squirrels are prone to have rabies and other zoological diseases.

I'll see your smells, plants, and devices, and raise you a real deterrent.

You have to be there to shoot them though, the other things work while your not home.
I killed a snake with a shovel, I hate snakes.
