I can't tell... the angle of your selfies I think makes it hard to really get an idea. Also, just changing your facial expression can do so much! For example, pursing your lips just a tiny bit helps plumb up the cheeks. I know it seems silly, but it really does help. It's hard to do at first, but holding your facial expression "upwards" rounds it out bit.

Edit: I would say lower and rounder hairline. Also an eyebrow lift. Maybe chin reduction upper lip fat injections?

To get a good evaluation, you need 5 pictures:

1. left side
2. left 3/4
3. straight ahead
4. right 3/4
5. right side

From what I can see in the posted pictures, look carefully at brow and orbital rim to open up your eyes. Also, consider shortening the upper lip and making the lips fuller with either fat graft or filler injections.

I evaluate applicants for our srs program and also advise on surgery and makeup for faces, and have a simple procedure. I look at the face in three front angles and three side angles. You have not provided enought proper pics from different angles.

The front. We use a simple technique we cover the face with a paper. We first move it down to below the eyes. This area can look very feminine and all you need is brow bossing and lowering the hairline.

We then move the paper down to the nose and cover up the eye area again. Again its  easily passible.

We then move to the lips and jawline. You have a strong jawline and small lips. Thie jaw line  is not visible on pics taken from above. So the camera angle come into play. The lips are easy to solve, good suggestions already given. The jaws line will be difficult to correct without surgery. But as a temporary answer, good makeup with shading can change the appearance. Consult a surgeon on the best action.

I think you have a  face that can be very feminine and beautiful.

natalie.ashlyne:
As Warlockmaker stated in her reply to you:
"I think you have a  face that can be very feminine and beautiful."
......And I agree with her.

As you appear now you already can do a good job of passing, and you have been doing just that...
and as you seek SRS be certain to fully understand what is going to be done, the risks involved, and if you have to get a 2nd opinion to feel comfortable, please do!!  This is important and life changing, you want it done correctly and they way you want it done after careful surgical consultation.  Looking forward to your updates and once you meet with your surgeon please post again.

***One final thought and just my opinion:  You have only been on HRT for a year and 3 months......  I know from personal experience with my own HRT and transition that more significant things can happen with HRT in more time... it was not until in the middle of my 3rd year that everything fell into place with significant changes to my body and face ... so, be certain to ask the doctor about what is the best time frame during your specific HRT timeline and your changes so far to consider when is the best time for YOU for SRS.    Again, just my opinion.

Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle

Natalie great question, but none of us are qualified to address that. Frankly it is up to you and what you feel is best for your face and your doctor should give you his opinion on what he/she sees. I mean they work with faces more than the rest of us. I agree with the other comments as well you have a good face and maybe need a little done. Good luck and I expect some update pics after surgery and recovery.

I think you should send in photos to many surgeons to get a better idea of what is needed. What I think for you is jaw, chin, nose, forehead, hairline.

The VirtualFFS website has guidelines for the type of pictures that are needed for a good evaluation. See the following link for examples of proper picture angles and lighting.  Note that the hair has been pulled back, so as not to hide the shape of the face.  Also minimal to no makeup.

Hey Natalie, You look good now but I think we all look for the small signs of testosterone exposure. I know a girl near me who also looked good before FFS but I have to say afterwards, she is stunning. She went to Dr. Zukowski and had a bit of everything done. Mandible shaping which now she has a shorter chin, rhinoplasty, brow contouring. I don't think she had to have her hairline advanced but I'm not certain. What I can say is she went from passable to full no doubt cis female looking.

For your face I would see maybe brow contouring and chin contouring. From the pics you put up I don't think you have any issues with your nose shape or size.

I know I see the things I would have done if I ever have the money to do so every day.

I agree with everyone else.  You have many strong points and just need some holistic ffs approach.    Some of us need massive work in one area and others could use a bit in several areas.   Your hair line could stand to be lowered or even using the lacemfront edges.  Bangs/fringe would help from the front.  You may want to consider adding some body to your hair-the length and straightness may not be helping the cause.Brow lift,it's hard to see the angle of your nose, but I suspect it could use a little-not a lot-bone work and a tiny bit of tip refinement.  Lip lift with enhancement and jaw work.  I'd consider Dr. Z or Dr. Speigel as I think they both do package prices.  I am very similar to you as I needed tweaks here and there and went with Z.

Though I agree with most of the other girls here that we aren't here to judge each other, etc., I love plastic surgery so I will tell what I would do, if I were you.

if you can do anything you want, I would do:
surgery to have eyes opened up more (where they make the orbital area of ur eyes more open), hairline lowering/softening the angles of your hairline (best done in my opinion with just hair transplants), lip lift and lip implant (I only suggest implant because in my opinion filler is not cost effective you have to redo it yearly or more often depending on the location, so why not spend a few thousand dollars one time versus per year!) & chin

if you can't do everything then I would do:
lip implant & hair transplants to round out your hairline

either way good luck doll!!!!

Well, I know what my surgeon would say (get a consultation with Dr. Zukowski - it's free): hairline advancement, forehead reduction, jaw reduction, chin reduction.

If you could post pics from the side, I could determine where your nose stands. Also, it's possible that you'll need hair transplants.

i absolutely agree - forehead, jaw, chin, scalp advance and/or hair transplant to round out the hairline.  On top of this, a lip lift would really feminise your mouth - it really was a game changer for me.

I cannot see from the pictures whether you might need a trachea shave.  Adding this to your surgery bundle means a marginal increase in cost but it is definitely worth it.
