Hello!
I just wanted some advice with how to get your chest flat without a binder. I can't afford one at the moment and it would really help me, passing wise if I could get a relatively flat chest. money wise it is bit of an issue so is there anyways where I can bind my chest without it being too expensive?
I know binders are probably the best option but like I said money is tight for me. D:

this is where I got my first binder when I was super poor :)
I've also used duct tape (horrible) ... a pair of those womens control pants/tights with the crotch cut out and put over my head....an old pair of jeans i cut up and sewed together and added laces too, kinda like a corset...and god knows what else before I discovered the big brother binder system :P
Some people use abdominal binders or waist trimmers made out of neoprene or similar materials. They're usually cheaper than regular binders.
Jeatyn posted a good link for cheap binders. Sometimes guys on here will sell/trade/give away binders on the FTM Gear subforum. I think there are a few places on livejournal that do the same.

Wow. :P I've only tried bandages, they sucked.
I don't know if I would qualify for it though.
Before I acquired a binder I wore tight sports bras from thrift stores and charity clothing bins. I have a pretty small chest, though.
I used stiff tight singlets (tanks for those in the US).
Pretty much exactly the same effect as underworks binders give me.
I've used tape, ace, and the pantyhose method. Nothing works quite like a binder, but pantyhose and layering are effective.
Layering especially, since cold weather is among us (me, at least o.o).

what size are you
Before I got a binder I tried ace bandage wrap, that didn't actually work out very well. It would always slip so I had to watch even the smallest of movements I made, even then it would eventually slip. I've heard of guys breaking their ribs from binding too tightly with ace bandage wrap, too, so I'd recommend staying away from that if you can.
Best option is to look into used binders like everyone else has been saying, that way you could get it on the cheaper end.

I think it is medium, how long is the binder or is it short one? i'm from the uk. :D i'm skinnyish, so it might fit.

I really think it's important for me to explain this amazing method I'm using for binding it can be super cheap but you've gotta make it yourself.
1) buy one of those cheap elastic back eg all jerseys, you know, the jerseys made of the material used for swimsuits.
2) draw an outline of a rectangle on the jersey. Height- the vertical length of your breast. Length- the horizontal length of your chest.
3) cut out the rectangle, you should have two rectangles when you open it up. Take the two rectangles and put it around your chest, hold on the one side and pull the other until you reach the flatness you wanna achieve. Mark it.
4)cut away the part that was marked, now your rectangle should be shorter than in the beginning, draw an outline of a sports bra according to the measurements of your arms.
5) sew up the side and you've got a binder =D
I know I'm really bad at explaining, I'll make a video if you guys want me to.
It may work ok with a tight sport bra. It's not a great binder but I found with other stuff helping it worked well.
