girl, I just can't say enough how much I love your style,
this is me, smiling even if my back hurts a lot because of therapy and having some mental issues as one does, I've been stuffing myself with a lot of junk food and feeling weak because of it, but these times are hard for everybody, so no right to complaint

As the covid-19 is now outbreaking again, the classes for the first 3 weeks in the fall semester will go online. I am not quite sure whether any face-to-face class will be allowed this semester. The school opening of my daughter was already postponed by 2 weeks.

Yes. It is also daring here to wear those shot pants, but it is not impossible. Near the beach, it may be more accepted.

Long time no see.
It is nice to see your photos again with some news.
Most women here do not wear makeup every day, but they consider makeup as a kind of etiquette for business or certain special events. In big and crowded cities, more women wear makeup.
I wear suncream every day. Sometimes I wear foundation and mineral powder sunscreen, which is nice as it can be repeatedly applied.

I got my hair cut last Friday. It is a little shorter than I would like. After hair surgery I had a MASSIVE undercut in back which is not mostly grown out. The sites that received hair in the front are growing nicely and not really visible in this photo. It was also my first time wearing the dress I have on.

I knew I had to take action. I somewhere between 210-215 pounds in the first picture and I was down to 193 in the second. I have continued to lose weight and I'm now down to 185. I think based on some pictures from a photo shoot that I'm only about 10 pounds away from reaching my appearance goal.

Thanks Haley, I hope you're coping alright with your extended lock down conditions, I know if can be tough on anyone's emotional state to be isolated away from people. I hope you stay well.
Good on you girl for looking after your elderly parent and being so caring with their safety - I think that speaks volumes to the type of person you are.
The girls night out was really great for so many reasons, I recommend everyone get out when you can and meetup with some other like minded people so you can de-stress some of this covid thing away. It will be a bit longer for you Haley but stay strong!

Having lived in Hongdae for over 3 years. I can personally relate as Asian women are extremely tiny. So any height above 5' 11'' will attract attention even for cisgender Asian woman. But since you live in one of the safest place on Earth, you can truly live your life as your wish without ever worried about being mocked or attacked even staying out late at night.
P.S. Where do you find large size shoes in that part of the world anyway? HM? Custom handmade?

It suddenly became warm at noon, and I had to change to the summer mode. I walked in the street of the nearby beach. I was the tallest person there, and some paid attention to me. I could hear a kid commenting that I am very tall. Walking on the stilettos became easier, and I had some confidence to wear them during the upcoming conference next week.

I also remember that the facial profile of a woman in a cosmetics ad photo looked so elegant and beautiful when I was a teen. In 40 years, I happened to realize that my own profile looks similar.
As I could not see my own legs and profile through the eyes of others so easily, even through the mirror, I puzzled how I could search and pursue my own images from other women. This is different from narcissism or the BAT.

Sophia, on the verge of turning 52 this month! Exciting news: My surgery team at UCLA is getting my medical insurance preauthorized for FFS. The Surgical Coordinator has everything together she needs to submit the packet at the end of this month to my insurance carrier. I'm scared/excited and learning a lot from a close friend who JUST had FFS a couple days ago in Arizona. When 2021 gets here It's going to be time to shine and leave 2020 as a no-so-fond memory!

Oh hey! I’m alive lol. Just been wrapped up at work, shooting, moving and oh I’m turning 30 in a couple days. It was time to celebrate with a photoshoot. Love my photographers!! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! Off to LA I’m a couple days to celebrate the big 3-0 with my love

Hey girls, another long-time absentee checking back in.
It's been a terrible year. Covid has managed to claim my job prospects, nearly all my friendships, & even my relationship of 2+ years. I've been depressed for months, mostly solitary & afraid to go outside.
Many people around the world are suffering and enduring. The COVID-19 blue is ubiquitous. The suicide rate has been increasing. It is a very difficult time for everybody. Some exercises may help relieve depression.

Happiness from within:
Sophia, on the verge of turning 52 this month! Exciting news: My surgery team at UCLA is getting my medical insurance preauthorized for FFS. The Surgical Coordinator has everything together she needs to submit the packet at the end of this month to my insurance carrier. I'm scared/excited and learning a lot from a close friend who JUST had FFS a couple days ago in Arizona. When 2021 gets here It's going to be time to shine and leave 2020 as a no-so-fond memory!
You look happy, Sophia. The bottom line is that you are immune to the COVID-19 like me.

Everyone looks so beautiful!! I went to the hair dresser and got my hair done then went and got my ears pierced. Love the new look. I feel so confident. and congrats on the ear piercing, pierced ears open a whole new avenue of jewellery and looks options. I remember when I got my ears pierced it felt like a right of passage to womanhood. I felt it help me pass better, a pair long dangle or hoop earrings help promote the female look. I remember It felt like an eternity waiting for the holes to heal so i could try other jewellery.
I have been pierced a number of times since then, I now have 3 holes in each ear, i wear a nose stud and i had my navel pierced.

I highly recommend a tattoo parlor for anyone getting piercings in the future in their ears. Zero pain and not even the slightest soreness. I have to reach up and feel the earrings to even know they are there. Next up is going to be my belly button. Then I think I’m going to start a half sleeve on my right arm. I want koi, lotus flowers and a water scene. Gonna be awesome.

BTW, I have to love and wear every day this juniors miniskirt because people's reactions are different. Suddenly, people are very kind to me, treating me like a kind of gracious lady. Usually, wearing miniskirts makes me look like a kind of street girl. But this is different, and I do not yet know the exact reason.

I let my hair. air dry too. Only time it sees heat is when I have atrim at the hairdresser.
Interesting, how much time is needed to get your hair air dry?
I know it is healthy to let air dry but sometimes I use low heat to get it dry because it is faster otherwise it takes hours.

Yesterday I went to a traditional market here. Wearing a mask is mandatory there. I got a lot of attention, but interestingly women watched me more than men. Usually, aged women study me, but I realized that young girls also watch me behind. The reason I guess is that few women were wearing a miniskirt. It was warm.

It dries in around 2 hours. I never use curling tongs straighteners etc.
2h is a good time, mine needs over night, so that is why I use a blow-dryer, very low heat of corse.......

You may use a tripod and an app such as Timer Camera to take directly your selfie without a mirror. I use Samsung Note 10+ which has a remote controller to press the shoot button (S-pen).
I also have a big mirror which is as tall as me, and I occasionally use it to take indoor photos.

Here in South Korea, we have never been in lockdown. As people can not go abroad, they instead come here, Jeju island where I live. I see the airport crowded with tourists.
Yesterday I was in Busan, the 2nd largest city in S. Korea. Wearing a mask is mandatory within the beach, but not in the street. But almost all the people were wearing a mask. When I have to wear a mask, I do not wear foundation or lipstick, which dirty the mask.
My height was 198 cm (6'6") with the red pumps. I became the tallest person there, but fortunately, not all people paid attention to me. Despite my gigantic figure, surprisingly fewer people studied me.
Anyway, I can take outdoor photos/videos easily.

Everyone is look super beautiful here. Life for me is about to change in so many ways I will not be working the insane hours I have been because I am having SRS in 11 days yaaa :D . I am honestly getting a little scared though as apparently it is just going to be an epidural. Had some warm weather so had some fun on my day off at night driving around did not get to do it in the summer time as my work schedule was nuts and did some shopping bought some cool new toys for post surgery hehe can't wait to us them and stayed back at the Sheraton Center for my doctors appointmentLooking beautiful sis! Congrats on your are coming up. I’m actually scheduling consults right now. I have 2 set up for the first of the year. Super excited to be this close!

I haven’t been on in awhile but holy cow you all are looking amazing. Wow! Here is my latest pic nothing special on the outfit other than I really could see Jaymi in this pic. I was feeling fantastic and I got gendered correctly at Walmart then stopped at a gas station a few minutes later. The you g lady asked to see my ID and my heart sank because the pic is still my old long beard hillbilly looking self. She never batted an eye and as I was leaving she said have a great night girl. I will be hitting the 7 year HRT mark in a month and 60 years old in about 5 months... I have been focusing on other areas of life’s journey since my last visit but,... Fortunately, he did not turn his head back. And she continued to shout, "Step aside!", of course, in Korean. Probably she thought I do not understand the Korean language.

You can do that but it would be insane for me to attract so much attention. Im 1.88m so wear only kitten heels or more often flats because I want to blend and it’s already hard to not get noticed as im very tall for a woman in the UK.

Today I decreased the heel height from 13.5 cm to 12 cm (5.3" to 4.7"). I just finished a 2-hour class. The pumps are new ones. As the size is greater than my foot size by 2 sizes (1 cm), they are more comfortable to walk in than the previous pumps (US women's size 10).

As it rained in the morning, it was humid and warm, and I was bitten by mosquitos at 3 spots on the legs. I had to take off the stockings.

Thanks I was so happy about it but unfortunately I got a call from my surgeon and my surgery is canceled again because of covid 19 four days before surgery I am so hurt right now It is making me cry all day

Thanks I was so happy about it but unfortunately I got a call from my surgeon and my surgery is canceled again because of covid 19 four days before surgery I am so hurt right now It is making me cry all day

Strangely the air quality tends to be nicer this fall, and I have more chances to run/hike outdoors. It was 5 degree Celcius (41F). I wore suncream and foundation in the daytime, and running at night is especially nice because I can completely cleanse my face while taking shower.

Hi Allie, nice to 'see' you again, been a while. Odd being thin. @ 5'10" I was over 240lbs before the real me, then weight fell off. I'm still at 168 lbs, hoping to drop a few more. 160 was my weight in my early 20s, I hit 165 after getting married and being force fed (HAH!!) regularly. I stayed 165 for years before middle age hit.
Relaxed, there is something to that one. My wife and I have always tried to brush off stress and tension, it has worked for the most part. People (strangers even) that come to our house actually feel the difference when they enter our home, calming. Our house is like a tranquil sea amid a storm. Our (adult)children come home just to sit on the couch and forget the world.

I heard that covid-19 is again serious in LA and other California areas. Here it is also exploding again, and today the government raised social distancing to Level 2 (0-3). People already avoid any meeting or dining together. I am in a dull mode.
I am in the waiting room of a nearby hospital to get a prescription for Deutasteride from the doctor. It is a kind of preemptive measure for reducing hair loss.

It seems that some of us have been struggling with the effects of Covid and it breaks my heart that it is affecting so many in negative ways. Hopefully things can begin to return to normal soon. I basically have shut down my social media presence and have been spending time living in the here and now for myself. Anyway, I am still alive and kicking and tying to stay optimistic. I wanted to stop by and wish everyone Happy Holidays and hopes for a better new year.

Yes. It has been a while, and nice to hear from you that you are OK. I read some newspaper articles that the covid-19 is exploding again in California. Here it exploded, too, and many fear the Christmas holidays as about 20% of the S. Korean population is Christian and even non-Christians celebrate it.

I wear glasses, though usually take them off for pictures because of the reflections. If you need to wear them, they can be another handy prop in helping others gender you correctly if needed. X

I also was born in late May, but I seldom celebrate my birthday as I believe the birth of a human is just the start of tragedy. I hide my birthday as much as possible, and my family and friends nowadays seem to completely forget about it. But I do celebrate the birthdays of my kids.

Oh, dear. You should not have done that. You should have gone to an ophthalmologist (eye surgeon).
That was on your cornea. You could permanently damage your vision that way.

Amazing something so light could pierce the eye like that.
I'm amazed now at my boob to waist to hip ratio now.
I didn't imagine this type of effect since I was always wearing padded bras to make up for what I was missing anyway.
But it's different when they're real and have a weight to them rather than just bras lol

So much has happened since I last visited. So many ups and downs, although I hold true to focusing on the positive.
I'm halfway through my software engineering degree and its going really well. I've been seeing a lot more of my friends and older friends and that has been really fun and supportive - especially since my wife and I are separating.
My son George and I continue having lots of fun together and he's doing really well at school and loving it.

I'm lucky to be bald "only" on top, so I grew my hair out everywhere else on my head. If I wear a hat it works really well. And who knew it would be so curly?

It isn't perfect, especially the hairline part, but I prefer to use it, as I don't have to mess around with the nylon wig caps (which I would do, if no other option was available...I'm just glad this exists, too). The one I use is the 'Top Full' synthetic one. That has this huge 11" base, so it covers a good area.

I have got to say, I am impressed!!!… Fabulousness is running like a river around here these days!... checking in on a less regular basis really drives home the amount of beautiful, positive changes and progress you have all made... it gets easy to not see then changes we want day to day... but, when measured in months... you witness the true magnitude... kudos to all of you, my gorgeous sisters!… 🌻
Life rolls on at a beautiful pace for me... I passed my 7 year HRT mark... moving towards my 60th birthday in a couple months... and I continue to find joy in each day as a wife to the world’s best husband and, a grandmother to the world’s best granddaughter 🤗💕

It has been a few months since I checked in... I have got to say, I am impressed!!!… Fabulousness is running like a river around here these days!... checking in on a less regular basis really drives home the amount of beautiful, positive changes and progress you have all made... it gets easy to not see then changes we want day to day... but, when measured in months... you witness the true magnitude... kudos to all of you, my gorgeous sisters!…
Life rolls on at a beautiful pace for me... I passed my 7 year HRT mark... moving towards my 60th birthday in a couple months... and I continue to find joy in each day as a wife to the world’s best husband and, a grandmother to the world’s best granddaughter

Hello everyone, been a long time since I've posted. Thought I'd share what's been happening. Got back from Los Angeles CA last night. Had my in person consultation SRS consultation with Dr Gladys Ng MD from UCLA Gender Health program. I have a surgery date of May 21st 2021. I'm getting mentally prepared for this life changing event.
2-21-2021 marks 2 years since I started this amazing journey and I've made new lifelong friends during my journey. I can't thank each and everyone of them enough for helping me become the best version of myself I can. The picture I posted is me without heavy makeup, a look at where I am progress wise. Like many girls I'm always going to be self conscious about certain aspects of my appearance but I'm getting more and more comfortable. I've been living full time since Jan 2020. People sometimes look at me "weird" but I can't tell if they are admiring because they like my outfit, jewelry or clocking me? I've learned to block it out and just be me. I figure the people who have problems of who I am are the ones with the biggest problems themselves. Kinda funny how that works isn't it?
I recently got back together with my boyfriend, Craig. We initially dated in 2019 but broke up soon after. I figure 2 years was long enough to make him say "I'm sorry" for the stuff he pulled. He definitely paid the price and has since redeemed himself. I enjoy our time together and very happy when he comes to visit, we live 2 hours apart in different states. We are taking things slow and steady. He's very exited for my surgery!
My Father turns 78 in May and I'm very proud of his acceptance of me. He had briefly reverted back to his/him pronouns and using statements like "that guy" when describing me in situations. Since my changes have been drastic over the last 2 years he finally sees his new daughter and has begun the process of letting his late son go. It's been particularly difficult for him because we lost my Mother in August 2018 and I came out in January 2019 so he had no time to process both losses in that short amount of time. My Mom and Dad were married 53 years and my Dad had an only son for 50 of those 53 years so I understand he will take time to accept what happened but he's doing great overall.
I enjoy a huge amount of close friends and people I consider part of my extended family. I'm still trucking and operating my small trucking business all over the US. I've been in trucking all my life and personally operating a trucking business for 14 years. I'd like to eventually get off the road and be home with Craig everyday but that will take long term planning.
Everyone here is looking great as usual. I'm continuing my journey and living a good life. Wishing all of you a better 2021, Life is short and nothing is guaranteed.

Hints of spring and summer (my favorite time of year) 😀👍... are definitely starting to show around here, a few hours up the coast from you... definitely not beach weather temps every day but, lots of sun and at least one or two days a week warm enough to walk the beach trying to get a little sun on my pasty white winter body!

I've now passed the four-month mark with HRT, and I'm feeling pretty awesome (I'm actually not annoyed in that pic, even though I may look like I am...I was just trying to understand what Mom was saying via a pretty lousy internet connection).

I have to use a topper, and I got pretty lucky in finding one that matches my bio hair colour, and it's currently the same length as my bio hair is at the moment.

I am uncomfortable with myself. I don't like how my body and face have not kept up the past 2 years and actually regressed (thanks a lot Doc :icon_anger: :icon_burn: ) I am trying to put myself out there and not worry about it so here's an attempt with a photo I really hate from last night.
