Spells to change genders?

Hi, I don't know if anyone has come across people selling "gender changing" spells online but I was wondering what people here think of them.

Of course they sound too ideal to be true but I was just wondering if anyone has bothered with them or the similar ones.

I found myself looking for some of these "spells" when i was younger. I was into witchcraft at the time with my sister and talked to a "spirit" on an ouija board. I asked if i would ever become a woman, and she said yes. But then she told me not to do it b/c i would lose the ones i love. they're all rubbish. Novelty gifts for gullible shoppers really

Sorry, but as someone who was involved in Wicca for over 20 years I can tell you that this is just so much snake oil.  Most reputable Wiccan traditions look down on the practice of accepting money for any sort of spellwork or prayers.  And it is precisely because of this sort of "magically make all of your dreams come true" charlatanism that these rules exist. 

I won't say that magick and prayers don't work.  Magick rituals, prayers and belief can go a long way towards getting your mind right about the world and your place in it. What you believe can be very powerful.  ...I'll even admit to believing in a miracle or two.
But almost always, the real magick lies in deciding what you want and doing the hard work necessary to make it happen.

I have a ring that looks exactly like that one in design, with different colors. I just find that hilarious. It was from my grandma and is also dear to me spiritually.

I've been meaning to write gender-related spells, but have been so preoccupied with gender-related issues that my brain hasn't been able to focus on anything else.

Well. I really just don't think that is the way things work. Spells, curses, prayers and so on is all about power of the mind. And then that is iffy. Positive energy and negative energy and so on is plausible. But changing your physical gender. That would take physical processes to do. Annata makes a good point about mind over matter though  but it will only go so far. You won't magically have a V instead of a P one day. But you can always be a psychological female in a physical male body or a psychological male in a female body. Which is pretty much where we are right now.

You can do what you want and try what you want but don't get your hopes up. If it was that easy we would all be anatomically correct without the need for therapists, endos and surgeons.

This is surely a scam. And it's actually sad that it lures into desperate people.
That's not to say maybe, ''positive thinking'' can't help... but when it comes to physical bodies, just like the previous poster said, it takes physical means.

Well, in a particularly desperate  bout of dysphoria earlier this year I did  one of those on line spells for gender change from one of those that doesn't take money etc. 

Haven't woken up with the body of a hot babe yet.  Then again I have started seeing a therapist, had a few electrolysis  sessions and am running to the mailbox daily waiting the arrival of my letter for HRT that therapist said she would write after my last appointment.   

Can't  say that I actually believe the spell had anything to do with it, but if it did, somehow giving the nudge to start on the path to transition would have to be how it could.

Its what's inside that matters anyway. That is the magic...the spell. I'm MTF and I don't know how many times I've said to myself that I am twice the woman that others attempt to be...who were born with all the equipment installed!
There's so much more to it than just having the "stuff"...though it would have been awesome to have it in the first place.

You know, this reminds me of when I attempted to use spells to change my gender when I was 20. I am by no means a witch but I was desperate for a change. There was this spell I used were you had to do something at night when the moon was the brightest or something (I forgot)  and I think it required some other things, but nothing came of it....at least I think so lol.

Anyways, a year later I started HRT (I was 21) and so yeah. This is a really old post so if anyone else is reading this, then the best way to change your gender is to go out there and just do it you know? It is not easy, but it is the only way unfortunately.
