Nortriptyline, other meds for depression

Hey folks,

I am looking for people who have taken this medication to share their experiences. I have been on nortriptyline for about a month now. The first two weeks I had a lot of nasty side effects (nausea, dizziness. .) And now I dont even feel like I am on meds. Doc is going to increase dosage probably. I am still depressed but I guess it takes a while to kick in? Seems like not a lot of people are prescribed this drug anymore because Prozac and other newer drugs are more popular.  Let me know if it worked for you... or didn't and what did work.
