lol you'll get there eventually:D. Takes a lot of time. I know I'm impatient but I had to just relax and take it day by day. I also have a big butt too! I've blown out the last pair of my men's jeans. I keep blowing the butt out lmao. I switched to women's jeans and I'm not turning back!

One of my best friends she's cis today we were talking and then out of the blue in mid conversation she said I can see your boobies!! I had my work shirt on which is like 2sizes too big so it is fairly loose. I had the biggest smile on my face all day because of it!

Yeah, at this point my bra size is "baggy shirt" - lol.

I had a formal thing tonight and had to roll in a vest so they weren't so prominent...I honestly considered binding at one point when I was in the store trying to find the vest. I still hate clothes shopping - perhaps more than ever >:/
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

I'm a solid 34 B these days. My mom commented on Easter when we were trying on different clothes. "Huh Brooke, your boobs are getting big, look to be about the size of mine now".

Considering the old rule of thumb of a size smaller than mom or sister- I'm pretty happy about that. My sister is s 36 C- looking like I'll be headed that direction.

Definitely get that smiling!

Is it a bad idea to wear a bra during the early stages of breast development? I mean like really early like when you are just feeling the little lumps. If you can wear one, which type is best?

Look for "First Bra"  as a search and depending on where you live your local department store should have a section of First Bras among their normal stocks. These tend to look like bras with out the straps to do up at the back...you can also get proper training bras that do up at the front or back.

If there is a problem with wearing them early on then I have not heard anyone mention it but I am sure a few more ladies will chime in.

It's a nice feeling, isn't it?

I nicely fill a 38A, without HRT.

Congratulations, Rikki!  I'm something like a 38AA at this point.  :)

Petti, I haven't heard of there being anything bad about wearing a bra early on.  I don't wear one at home, but if I am out in the yard or walking the dog, I was wearing a sports bra under my male disguise, and I'll be wearing a padded bra under my girl clothes.  It was just physically uncomfortable to not wear one, with shirt fabric rubbing against tender nipples.

I just wear my vs padded bras in my male disguise as well! Surprisingly I'm able to hide them. My aunt didn't even notice I was wearing a bra til I told her it was a vs push up I had on lol.

Thanks everyone finally for the first time since starting I feel like things are actually growing and changing!! Well they have been growing and changing but it's finally at the point that the changes are noticeable! I've had 2 friends ask if they could have my butt lmao. And one of them I've already caught up to with bra size lol! Not to mention my step sister (who is skinny as a rail) she said she wanted my butt and my boobs lol. All those comments just make me feel like things are progressing and just put a smile on my face all day!

I always wear a bra, except when I'm in the pool.

Congratulations!  And all this talk of 34 and 36 band sizes beckons a response; "Ya'll girls are SKINNY!"...
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Thanks for the bra tips you all! All the Sports bras I can find now can fit very snug. Even an xxl was a bit too tight. A while back I used to have a few sports bras that weren't so bad, I don't know what happened. Haven't gained weight.  I'm skinny, but tall and I suppose too big a rib cage for stuff at Target  :embarrassed: Found a high neck that fits comfy though, and will look at other suggestions later.

Some of you girls are soooo lucky to fill out a bit better than others, because it would probably offset having a larger rib cage. Been on hrt since last Nov. So nervous I'll remain a towering beast.

Rikki88, I hope I didn't hijack your thread by asking those bra questions. If so I mean no disrespect.

LOL!  Yeah.  "Too small!  Throw 'em back."

I'm one of the scrawny ones.  34B on top, or the old bust/waist/hips 36/29/37.  136 lbs, 5'8".  ;)

So, what size would I be then?

I've been trying my darndest to not gain weight through the whole HRT thing, not easy, especially since I don't have my exercise stuff anymore, and don't want to bulk up anyway.

The good news is that at this point I seem to be improving in my top shape, better filling the cups in the bra.  The 34B t-shirt style (no underwire, full coverage) is now quite full.  Yay for moving past the pointy stage...
