The registration agreement has been cleaned up, some information from the Terms of service is now included.

Everyone is welcome at Susan's Place provided you follow a few basic rules: This site is an open peer support community, and is not generally sexually oriented. The purpose of this site is to provide peer support, and to provide a forum for sharing and discussion of information and issues related to gender which may include <not allowed>, Transvestism, Cross Dressing, or other related topics. This website exists to offer constructive input and support.

Personal information

When registering or posting on this site, you should not give out personal information which may lead to you being identified, or contacted in person, by email or other means. If you chose to do so, then you also accept all accompanying risks. Aliases and the use of alternate identities, social media accounts, and email addresses are strongly encouraged.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate, and not use your real name or any previous online identity.

With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.  We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this forum and make the required number of posts, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Prohibited activities

You further agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which violates the terms of service, or is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Privacy Notifications

This is a website is based in the United States, and operates under US law.

All communications via this website are logged. Logs and stored communications can be accessed when required for administrative purposes, in order to save a life, to report a crime to law enforcement, or if we receive a legally binding subpoena. With those limited exceptions this site does not sell or provide access to your personal information to third parties.

Stored communications include the public and private messages sent via the Chat, Forums, and website. Logs are not kept for a fixed period, and can be purged or removed at any time. Stored private communications on the forums are removed when the member deletes them.

We reserve the right to utilize third-party advertising and statistical tracking providers to enable us to better serve your needs when you visit our website. Communications

We do not send out emails as a general practice, however members can chose to receive, or not, notification of new posts, topics, responses, and notification of new private messages via emails. You maintain sole control over said settings in your forum profile under the Personal Messaging section. Make sure to review them immediately upon creating an account.

We send out a monthly newsletter via the private message functionality on the forums which go to all registered members. The site administrators and staff may send you additional messages as needed.

You as a condition of your membership agree to accept these communications.

Intellectual property

By submitting any information to this website you hereby grant this website, Susan's Place Transgender Resources; and its owner a no-cost, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, perform and display publicly, distribute, and prepare derivative works based on your submissions, in whole or in part, throughout the universe in any form, format, or medium now or hereafter known. This license is fully assignable, transferable and sub-licensable.

Said license is understood to include, but is not limited to contributed articles, images, photographs, profile information, forum posts and messages, wiki articles, or email messages which are sent by you to the site staff or owner and their responses. The License also covers any other materials submitted by you to this website but which are not specified here.

This license is understood to include the rights of use in any format all intellectual property rights owned or controlled by you to the material in question, including but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and so on. Once said materials are submitted to this web site, all expectations of confidentiality are null and void.

The Site Owner, @Susan, and her Staff make it our goal to keep this a friendly and safe place
that you and all of our members can explore our possibilities and achievements in each of our
own personal life journeys.

In her "mission statement"  Susan  has established what this site is about:

The Moderation Staff carefully reviews posting activities here on the forums to make certain
that the Terms Of Service rules that govern the Susan's Place site and the Forums are
followed, thus assuring that things like insults, disrespect, demeaning comments, Foul or obscene
language, pornographic and suggestive pictures and similar material, SPAM content, bashing
or flaming of members of this website and other non-allowed and offensive actions described
in the rules that govern this site... are quickly remedied and/or removed.
