Less food and more water has helped me lose 40lbs in the last year.

That is a good result!

Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that you speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

40 pounds?!? Holy-moly, Maddie! That's two bowling balls, a five-pound sack of sugar, and five cans of beans that are no longer duct taped to your body!!!

Davina, you are better than me at keeping your hands busy.  Being a good cook must make it an extra challenge to stay out of the kitchen though!  But you have other projects...

Can you take walks? I'm trying for 30 min in the morning and 30 at night. Most days.

Now is your time. You got this girl!

I am laughing.  Thank you ladies. It feels right to be smaller.
I'm eating less, but actually more often than I was before. No huge dinners.

Dear Davina:
The Corona Virus LOCK-DOWNS are not doing most of us any favors when it
comes to activities and exercise, plus when we are stuck at home,
our pantry and refrigerator is just a little too handy!!!

You need to use Kgs and not pounds, the numbers are smaller....   ;) :o
40 pounds ~ 18 Kg

Wishing you well regarding your weight loss endeavors.

HUGS,
Danielle

Not only are the numbers smaller, but the loses are bigger :)
This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud
It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
It's my life

My goal about 3 months ago was to lose weight just by 1 kg (2.2 lbs), but it is still the same despite diet and outdoor exercise. Some people say my bodyweight may have reached the asymptote. Nevertheless, my goal is still to see the two digits, 65, in kg, on the scale. It is so hard.

Cheers,

barbie~~

900 Cals a day is not much - be careful you get enough to actually cope given the body can go into starvation mode snd then you still won’t lose weight. Hugs. Xx

66 kg? I’d have to cut an arm off to get near that!

Actually, I have not measured my body weight during the last few weeks, as I am afraid of seeing an increased value.

Hmmm.... discussing weight loss goals during the winter holiday season seems to be somewhat misplaced...
... all of the yummy treats, cookies, cakes, candies and not to mention the scrumptious holiday meals with all the trimmings make it quite hard for certain.

This is a difficult time to try to lose weight,
.......about all I can try for is to not gain any until after New Years.

My diet is to gain a little weight as it helps fill in my curves at my bust and hips.  I'm too thin at 48 kg.  I gained 3 kg over the last six months by baking and cooking other tasty food. 51 kg is a better weight in case I get sick and have trouble eating.
My doctor should be pleased as I did enough exercise to keep my cholesterol and triglycerides in the normal range despite the weight gain.  They normally go up whenever I gain weight.
