Good film my back side, remake of FAME . Never mind it was something to watch. Managed a night with no undies or pad on bed and was fine , cant wait till things settle down and stop tugging.
Was thinking of going to pay rent on unit today but its a frost and forecast is barely above freezing today, tomorrow it said is up to 12C and as I have Docs for booster jab will do it then.
 Might make some tomato soup from scratch for lunch.

Went out and paid my unit rent , D was surprised to see me not expecting me to be mobile till next year. Called in on mum on way back and when I left the ex was taking her dogs for a walk so we had a quick polite chat. Docs after lunch for a booster jab , booked in tomorrow for nurse to check how healing is going as having trouble seeing in a mirror.

Have a load of records from my DJ days in the early 70s but they are all still at the ex's and my record player as well but it needs a new drive belt. One day I will get them.

Got my Custom Car mag and there was a local car in there with a photo shoot just round the corner from my flat at the art deco style garage in the town.
Well its shopping Thurs again already , a few more Christmas goodies in the trolley.
Cant decide if the tree is going up this year, not bothered myself and its not like I will get visitors. There again it will give me something to do .

Well rambling on, not sure if anyone is reading my drivel but it helps me jotting things down. Have to wander up town today as need a leek to cook a pork and cabbage dish and there were non in supermarket yesterday, same with icing sugar. Bought some more velcro strips (the removable sort) to put my wall art up as it fell off again , job for today.

 ;D, walk up to shop was fine due to the baby talc !! Knackered by the time I climbed up the stairs, lack of exercise for 6 weeks I think. Must have picked up the wrong mounting strips as not velcro (insert swear word here) .
Anyway cooking afternoon, courgette with fenugreek seeds and then stir fried pork with cabbage .
Had the heater on in bedroom last night as it felt so cold set on 18 C and the hot water bottle was still hot from 8pm at 11pm so snuggled up with that, toasty!

Must make myself busy today, been a lazy cow the last few. Bins, bring Christmas stuff up when I come back up stairs , hob to scrub (glass hob and it looks awful) , cook some ginger biscuits and tidy up as mum is coming over later.
 Ended up putting the winter duvet on bed, have been feeling cold even with temp in living room at24C . Sat watching TV with a fleece blanket over me , body may have been fighting a bug as gone a bit "snooty " again.

Davina you just had major surgery so I am not surprised that you feel the cold.  Time for a heavier blanket!!! :D

Have to try on my dress to see if it fits , what with lockdown and now layup tummy I hope it looks okay . Cards to sort and see if I have enough .
Have been sleeping over 8hrs , still that saves on electric!! Just got my bill for last month and its a big one, not surprised as having heating on all day in bedroom as well . Will be better after the 20th as can drop to twice a day dilation and I will be back to my unit after new year .

Since My doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago where we talked of future surgery I have been reading your posts.
Thankyou for sharing your experiences especially your recovery. I must say the recovery part scares me but following your recovery gives me confidence.

Thanks dear, glad it gave some insight . Must say I think I have been lucky with no real problems or pain so YMMV but hope its as easy as mine.
 Dress is a bit snug but will be fine, just have to hold my gut in!!

A good time last night, nice to meet up with everyone again. Sat at a table next to J who is the other MTF in the club and my friends N&C that I get on with very well. Everyone was friendly but have met most of them before, only ones who were a bit off were C&W but W is friends with my ex and she is the one who got us together.
Have to fix the heater blower in my car today as sun is shining, looks easy to get at and according to the owners forum is a common fault after standing to seize up . Well it was sat for 6 weeks so hoping thats all it is.
 Update, yes just stuck and a bit of spray freed it nicely. Bit off a so and so to put back together , ended up removing glove box and taking an air pipe off that refused to go back on properly !
