The meaning of Memorial Day
« on: May 29, 2021, 02:40:40 pm »
In the USA, this weekend is the annual Memorial Day holiday
long-weekend that marks the beginning of the Summer camping and picnic season.

BUT.... the real and true meaning of why we celebrate Memorial Day seems to be lost on many,
particularly the younger generation.

Memorial Day is a USA federal holiday .... the purpose is to  honor and mourn the
military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while
serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The annual holiday is observed on the last Monday of May.

My post posthumous thoughts are "Thank you for your service"  ...
For the loved ones of the fallen military personnel, may God's grace and comfort
be with you ... knowing that they did not die in vain. ...

         Let us not Forget !!!!

HUGS,
Danielle

Fallen Soldiers:

Thank you for giving it your all for us.

Love,

Chrissy
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that you speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.
