Ive been on nebido since 2016/2017 and though in male levels, i look the absolute same. A few times i told doctors im transitioning, they say they didnt even know i was born male (mtf) and im ftm.

i live on an island (trinidad population 1.3m) thats transphobic and i might be the only ftm here, with 2 doctors only who are willing to treat transgender. i hate every aspect of my life and now im almost 30 and still closeted to everyone. i have 0 friends and one in miami.
i plan to go miami next month to continue hormone treatment , a different type than nebido since thats the only one i had in my country. i dont really want to come back.

i wonder if someone like me can apply for asylum, and i wonder if anyone can help me.a transwoman was killed 2 or 3 years ago, and according to my doctor there arent other transguys here. i tried applying for h2b jobs but never got through, theres no agency in my country, and i dont see other options.

in the end, i really have given up and exhausted my options. my other plan is to not continue this life and im willing to do anything to not come back here.

Dear Raeden:
I am so very sorry to read of your difficulties in the country that you now live in.
Certainly moving to Miami in the USA will be a better situation for you as you continue
in your transition journey

Regarding your desires to apply for asylum ... my best advice for you would be that you should talk with someone in the US Embassy either in Tobago, where you live now, or next month in the USA once you get to Miami.

I am wishing you well and hoping that you can get the help that you want to have.

Applying for asylum in the US can be done, but you must show proof of an immediate danger to your life. Apply at the Embassy in Trinidad for a visa to the US. This is very important because many people are being sent back to the home countries if they arrive without proper documentation.
