get tighter or looser?
« on: June 30, 2021, 02:15:02 pm »
I've tried a lot of leggings and underwear corsets of different styles and sizes and finally reach a style that I like most, but size is a problem, for the legging, size M is a little bit too tight, size L is a bit too loose, while for the underwear corset, size XL is bit tight while XXL is a bit loose.

With the tighter sets, I think I'm more entertained but it's hard to work and live with it for a day. With the looser sets, it's a lot easier to live with it all day long, but very much not entertaining.

Does anyone have the same issue?

Women's clothes is made with stretch fabrics and designed to be worn tighter.

The insanely expensive Louboutin high heels are not designed for comfort.

Does woman tend to pick tighter size for underwear in general?

I like the tighter compression feel but my wife doesn't like to be squished.  What I find for women's clothing is your best to take your measurements with a cloth tape or string, and then when shopping (I pre-shop online prior to going to stores) view the size chart/guide.  Every brand seems to have different charts, also pay attention to the high mid and low rise mentions.   Many descriptions will also state how stretchy the item is, I find that range can easily be 10+ inches for a high stretch article.

Also, by taking your measurement it is easier to shop at online venues where you can't try before you buy.

Dear Wondering
Thank you for sharing and posting your thoughts.
You are correct regarding the varying size charts from different brands ... and the fitting of women's clothing seem to be all over the place but with the stretchy fabrics the is some leeway in the fit.

Now my experience after a lot of experiences is

For the best comfort and feel
--- tighter for bottom e.g. pants
--- looser for top e.g. corset and bra

Since I have pretty high pain tolerance I prefer tighter solution, but anyway it is hard to have it on whole day
