What is the length and other aspects of your hair?
« on: March 19, 2022, 08:15:05 am »
Women can look so beautiful in many hair styles, lengths, and color.

Long hair is often attributed to us women, especially younger women.
However, ever pixie hair, which can look almost identical to guy’s hair, does not detract from a beautiful appearance.  It is the overall appearance and face that complimented by your hair.

I like my hair to swing around and move a bit, so it needs to be around chin length to work well for me.
Longer is okay too and I enjoy wearing a nice long wig sometimes.  But I like to just have my own nice hair, that has advantages.

What is the length of your hair?  Feel free to describe other aspects of your hair in all ways (color, curls, waviness, style, etc.)

Chrissy
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that you speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

It's almost shoulder length, but I wish it was thicker. In the last 3-4 years it's thinned out a bit.

My hair is now much longer than in my picture. I have not been to a hairdresser in over 6 years. I just let it grow and keep it clean. Shampoo and conditioner for me. That's all.

I pull my hair back into a pony tail to keep it out of my face and right now my hair comes down to my mid back, about bra length or maybe a little more, unless I have it tucked through the back opening of my baseball cap, which I wear often when outdoors in the bright sun. Then my hair comes down to just below my neck and between my shoulder blades.

Brown / dark blond (highlights)
Wavy
Shoulder length
Parted slightly right of center
My hair is pretty fine, not thick.

Wavy salt and pepper hair.  Reaches past the middle of my back.
Think I last had it cut four years ago.  These days I trim off the split ends.

What you see in my profile pic is real and natural. No dyes, no straighteners or perms. No wig. Just below shoulder in length, wish it were longer.

Very long. Down to almost the tops of my legs. It's probably the only feature about myself I like :) I've done highlights in the past. Purple is my favourite colour but... at my age people think you're a bit weird lol. It's naturally curly but I hate that and have taken out bank loans (not really) for hair straighteners to make it... I dunno... more anime, lol.

I have 3 foot long pigtails, if I'm in the mood. That's all kinds of win haha.

Long hair is nice but god it's a lot of work. Worth it though, for me personally. :)

Warning

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.

I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.

I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

Lol, I like that. I'm at that weird in between place where I'm not old enough to be eccentric but too old to act like a teenager. ;D

My hair is long about mid back. Jet black and very wavy with a lot of curl. I hear a lot of stories of hair as dark as mine getting lighter as you transition. I don't know if it is the influence of hormone changes or something else. I expect it will lighten in color. My mother just tells me it is just a stringy mess and wishes I would cut it. She does not push it though. I get complements on my hair from others. Two rather recently.

Blonde, I usually keep it at should length or slightly shorter.... not curly.
When I actively running, jogging, hiking, or at the gym I usually wear it in a ponytail.
