LF binder recommendation

i'm a d cup, around 37 inches in chest size, and looking for a short binder since a longer one would kill me in summer

now wondering if someone closer to my size (especially the cup size) has tried any they found works ok. i looked at the binder comparison chart thread, but the sized reviewed were so variable i couldn't draw any definite conclusions, so i thought it would be better to ask just in case someone has a good recommendation for me

Hey man, I gotta say after a lot of research and topic reading, it seems the best binder for comfort, being short, and I often hear for bigger chested guys, is the tri top binder from underworks.
I'm sure you'll have heard of it before, but it really is great. I've had one for a year now, and although I'm smaller chested than you I wear a size small and it's very good for flatness. They have a good size chart and are very helpful with returns should it not work for you, so just thought I'd say thats my recommendations

thanks for the tip, the tri-top does seem popular, and it's not even that expensive, so i think i'll end up buying it anyway

now i just have to ask, are there any even shorter binders that are still effective to some extent (for my size or close to it)? or are most of them only good for smaller guys?

As far as I'm aware the tri top is about as short as they come, regardless of size fitting.
Mine cuts me off about half way down my ribs, whereas for someone people it seems to stop around their belly button, that may be because of the length of my torso or just general wear I'm not sure.
Having said that though, I've worn the tri top on various Holidays in 40 degrees, and it's no less comfortable than a sports bra.
It has only one layer of material on the back so it's way more breathable than a lot of binders, so I've never had the issue of over heating

Hey just popping in to give my two cents since I am almost exactly your size. 1 inch off haha. The underworks 997 so far works great for me, but its long and hot, which you are trying to avoid obviously :/
However, the jersey mesh short binder from loveboat worked pretty well for me too. Granted it's a tad too short, i stick out a bit under (wearing a sport's bra helped the problem a bit) and the size warning wasn't there when I bought it, so I got a large and it was too big (SO id definitely recommend a medium). I had to add some velcro to make it work, but it's very comfortable. As long as you pull it tight the stretchiness doesn't hinder binding. But yea, it still was a tad too short for me, but the binding was still effective, and about as hot as a sport's bra XD

I'm a 34DD.  The high strength (v-neck) from loveboat is awesome.  I'm not totally flat but nothing gets me totally flat.  The 2nd gen mesh gets me a bit flatter but it's not as comfortable.
