Hey guys so I've never had a binder before because I don't really need one (I'm pretty small), but not having something under my shirt has really limited what I can wear. No tight tees, no white tees, limited light color shirts, etc. So I was looking on the underworks website and saw links for two things that I have some questions about.

http://www.underworks.com/ac579.html

http://www.underworks.com/ac498.html

Does anyone have experience with these products?

I'm guessing those aren't "binders" right? The only reason I ask is, I sometimes have a hard time breathing (nothing serious) and I don't think I could handle a "binder" with compression like a double front or tri-top.

Could I maybe wear them to the beach and go swimming with them?

To me those seem pretty light weight.  Does it seem like they'd be as easy to take on and off as a shirt or almost as easy?

Which one of those would offer better compression?

And if you don't have any first hand experience with those products; I'd be happy to hear your opinions on how good they'd be etc.

Thanks so much guys! :D

P.S. This is kind of a random question but it's one I've had for a while now, are the Underworks binders "geared" towards cis-guys.  I just ask because they have products for cis-women.  I'd actually prefer it if they were, but it doesn't matter either way.

If you're looking for something without compression have you considered getting A-shirts. They'd be cheaper and be something under a t-shirt. Unless I'm misunderstanding and you do need a little compression?

I have asthma and wear two tri tops on a regular basis...
But YMMV.

By A-shirt do you mean just the regular tank top undershirt?  If you do, then yes, they'd work pretty good but I was looking for something with just a tiny bit of compression.  Nothing like a binder, but just something that compresses both the stomach and chest a little.

Really?  That's really great that you can wear both.  :)

I actually don't really need all the compression of a binder, so I'd rather not spend the money on extra compression that I don't need.

Yup that's what I was referring to

Oh OK. Well in that case, they work pretty well, but if I were going to wear a very tight tee it wouldn't. So I wan looking for something with just a little compression.  Nothing binder like; just something that will flatten me out a little on top and in tighten the stomach just a smidge.

Do those seem like they'd work?

Sam-

yeah, those definitely seem like they'd do well for what you need  :)

Why not try wearing a sports bra if you only need the tiniest bit of compression but don't need a full blown binder? I'm very small chested as well and they usually work well enough for me.

Have you considered tight men's work out shirts like under armor? I had to buy one recently to wear under my binder so it doesn't chafe my nipples, and I found out it actually has a surprising amount of compression xD. Not enough for me because I have freaking D-cups, but it might work great for someone small-chested like yourself and you can buy them really easily at any work out equipment store.

i suggest you get a tight-ish under armor or under armor type shirt from target or marshalls or someplace like that. it will work just as good or better then what your looking at but it will cost a lot less figuring in shipping and such. i hope you find this helpful.

I think I might get myself an underarmour top instead of dealing with the extra cost of ordering online.
