Noir believes shooter tried to kill her

But before letting a CBC-TV crew into her hospital room Tuesday night, friends rallied around to make sure she was her best beautiful self.
"I had a makeup artist, a hairstylist, a wardrobe stylist, everybody showing up just to make sure that I looked good when I was on camera," she said Wednesday.
A well-known Halifax drag queen performer, this Glace Bay native, born Chris Cochrane, is on the road to recovery after two men claiming to be police called her a "->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<-got" and tried to shoot their way into her Fairview apartment.
