You OK?

I was going to have dinner with you and Sarah but I have been put on sick leave.

A little up and down, but otherwise OK.. Put on sick leave? That doesn't sound so good..  :( Hope everything is OK.

I give up... I went and got some bikini cut stretch cotton panties to see if they'd work to keep me in place without all the pain I get from two pairs of control top pantyhose.  To date, the pantyhose have been the only thing that moderately works, and the tuck still comes loose after half an hour or so.  So yesterday I got those panties in size 6, which is 1 to 2 sizes smaller than the pants I wear (I wear size 7/8).

Sure enough, it didn't work at all. :(  Two steps and everything just came apart.  So back to the pantyhose and the severe pinching pain and itching.  I really wish I could just find something that worked, but I doubt I ever will given my anatomy.  Seriously, I'm getting results that are about as flat in front as if I were wearing a pair of men's Jockey shorts.  Highly disappointing. :(

Have you tried a gaff, Zoë Natasha?

And if nothing works at all, perhaps you'll have to go for taping.

I have, and it was painful because of where a seam was.  Also, it didn't keep me in place whatsoever, didn't fit snugly (despite ordering 2 pant sizes lower than I wore), and didn't make the front look even remotely flat.

As for taping, there's no way.  My skin's not overly sensitive except when it comes to adhesives of any sort.  I can't even wear a band-aid for more than two hours without blistering.

That's why I'm so despondent... :(  I've tried every single suggestion out there and nothing works for me whatsoever.

Stretch boy short mini leggings - do a search for them on eBay (I would link up the auction right here, but I don't know the rules regarding that issue). Eh, I'll do it anyway, just being helpful: (mods feel free to smack me with a stick if it's wrong)

You can order them in different colors too :)

Considering we have many boards with links to shoe websites, I doubt there's a problem with your link. :)  Then again, I'm a new mod and may need a slap on the wrist myself. lol

In any case, thank you for the recommendation!  If you use them, do they work?  My problems seem to be that I have a belly now that makes the bottom half of any undergarment fit pretty loose, and that I have that lousy 2" gap between the tops of my legs, meaning that all "keeping in place" has to be done with garments because my legs contribute nothing to tucking.

Zoë, I see you have been going with many items smaller than your actual size. Perhaps, though surprising, this is the actual problem? I may have misunderstood, but
well, maybe it would actually work if it were the right size?

I just thought of a crappy plan. It may be useful but probably isn't. What about wearing tight boxers, tucking in it, holding it like that somehow and then putting on two
pairs of thongs (inverted, the "string" forward) to secure it on both sides?

(This is probably a ridiculous plan)

I find that they work well enough, but I'm not in the exact same position anatomy wise. Judging by their shape (and the picture of the girl there with a 2 inch gap), I think they would probably be worth a shot  :-\

I don't know how well garments of my size would work compared to garments that are smaller than I am, but I went with the logic that smaller would be tighter.  It works up top, but fails below mid-hip, where they go loose.  That's been my problem.  The problem doesn't happen with the pantyhose, which are tight all around.  The problem there is simply that they're pantyhose: they itch like crazy and they pinch even worse.  I can't handle being in a cushy seat for more than 20 minutes without feeling like I'm going to die of pinching pain.  And yet, despite how tight they are, my attempts to tuck still fall apart after about half an hour if I'm at all mobile.

Emma, I think I'm going to give those a shot.  At their price, there's not much to lose.  If they work, it'd be priceless! :)

Thinking outside the box here.  Have you tried a heavy denim , or leather skirt that will hang flat?

I like my skinny jeans, but I tend to always wear shirts/tanks/jackets that cover my entire torso.  Despite my tucking issues, I don't have a problem with light-fabric skirts or dresses because of my build.  My torso is bent at an angle that makes my butt stick out and look bigger than it is, a result of spinal curvature.  That, however, makes dresses and skirts hang down in front, in such a way that any bulge isn't noticeable.

The only problem I have with skirts and dresses is that they emphasize how I'm built like a beanpole and have no breasts.

Believe it or not, thinking about this all day long (seriously!) has energized my job search.  I need a job and surgery, even if I just start out with an orchie to make things easier while I save up for the full SRS!

So about the panties... if I wear a size 7/8 in jeans and they fit snug, would a 6 work for keeping things in place?  Because right now, I use cut off pantyhose and it HURTS!!  I know that's most likely too vague a question, but in general, might it work out?
no, panties run alot smaller than regular pants.  I'm a size 10/12 pants and size 6 panties fit perfect.
