Transitioning in a work environment of a private club?

I am a bartender for the largest country club in the USA and will be starting HRT in the near future. I am wondering if anyone has experience with transitioning in a work environment where interaction with people of a private members only club or something similar.

A few co-workers know, three by choice, two or more not by choice (harassment) and all of my regulars know that I present as a gay male,  heck even a few gave me wedding gifts when my partner and I got married. I could very well transfer to a different club or department within my company, permitting the views of my GM (who knows I am transgender). But I am not at that point yet and am still being harassed by boss who may or may not know so I do want to get out of my department ASAP. So if my GM permits should I transition after a transfer or transfer and cross the bridge on transition when I get there?

I would talk things over with your GM, letting him know that you are being singled out.  Maybe talk about going to another location with the express purpose of transitioning.

I've talked with my GM about harassment from another manager which has now stopped, but now that manager's buddy (who is also a step up from the manager who was harassing me) who is both of out boss and is the highest person in my department has started in. So this whole ordeal seems to be spiraling downwards. The harassment I can deal with as long as my end result is good. But in preparation I am cashing in all my sick and vacations days for medical reasons just in case I walk into work and something happens and I either quit or get fired. The only reason why I am thinking about transitioning at this moment is because even pre-HRT I am close to passing, so add the effects of 6+ months of E and AA puts me at almost not passable as a boy.

I am occasionally known for being pig headed . If you are looking that good go for it. What sort of harassment. And do other woman get harassed?

The harassment is not in a sexual manor any more, it is off-the-cuff remarks and verbal belittling in front of co-workers as a result of my going to the general manager about sexual harassment. I am hoping that I will get resolution for that issue in the near future so I can proceed in being able to express myself better. The concern on that is how to try and deal with the repercussions with a job that entails working with members of a private club.
