PAYETTE, Idaho -- A southwestern Idaho woman will serve at least three years in prison after she planted fake destructive devices, set fire to her truck and then ran naked along a rural highway to draw attention to her struggle as a transgender person.

Granted, planting fake bombs, setting your truck on fire and running down the road naked is not a recommended way to retaliate against a questionable traffic citation...
But I think the sentence is a bit harsh... A few months to a year in the happy house would probably have sufficed

I'm all for those things being illegal, but "making fake pipe bombs" seems like an oddly specific charge.

No but I read your link. It's understandable that she's upset but all that's happened she's done to herself.

She changed her name and then her sex, in California, thirty years ago.
She had the audacity to legally dispute ownership of a property in Idaho, with her rightwing, religious female parent.
Therefore forcing her female parent to divulge her daughter's biological history to the redneck state of Idaho.
Then later during a traffic stop, for a seatbelt infraction, in the rural right wing, middle of nowhere town of Payette,
[Where she had been living peacably (in "stealth")]
she forced the redneck pig to broadcast her private biological history,
on the OFFICIAL police two-way, to all of his bored fellow "law enforcers".

Notice he didn't say other females.
They couldn't "confirm her gender"?

Another call alerted police to a NAKED WOMAN running down the highway,

She was also sentenced to serve 180 days for indecent exposure.
