pride fest

I went to pride fest 2011 with my aunt kim, this saturday. It was very fun and it was the first time i ever met any other transgender people. I took my younger sister who is 15- well unknown to my parents and she really enjoyed herself as well. She is the only other excepting person in the family besides me. We got some phone numbers and email and my aunt kim made some new friends. I also made a new trans friend named Derek, we have been texting and im'ing each other for the past 2 days. Its been really nice making new friends. I really loved going there and enjoying myself with my aunt and sister. I hope to go next year as well.  :laugh:

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time.  Your aunt sounds awesome too, please give her a hug from me, as a parent who wishes all the folk here had accepting families.
