Hi all! I've been measured several times and I've always had a 36 band. Technically, I'm a 36AA, but I wear B-cup inserts which makes me a pretend 36B.

Problem is, when I go into a store to try one on, they are usually comfortable, but I have 'armpit flab' between the armpit and the actual bra (where the strap meets the cup). The lady at one of the stores said that every bra does that but they eventually stretch and become a little more flattering. Is this true? It bothers me for some reason, I don't want people seeing more flab then they need to. Or should I start doing pushups lol? Sorry, I can't find a decent picture of what I'm talking about.

Please help!

Have you tried a professional fitter to measure you properly?

If it is where I'm thinking you mean any bit of excess in the area will cause "armpit flab".  The woman is right to some degree as some of my bras after they have stretched a bit are no longer as bad as when new, others are still the same.  Go figure....
