Can't knock the LJ's dual too bad. Although it isn't SUPER realistic looking, and does peel...it does the job. But at the rate my gf and I are going, I'm thinking I'll need something else. I got my LJ about 3 years ago, and have gotten plenty of use out of it, but it's peeling BAD. And the actual rod broke out the side of the orange candle stick lookin thing (thank god for duct tape) haha.
Considering the Reel Magik model is cheaper, LOOKS more realistic, and doesn't need an insert-able rod, really makes me want to invest in one. Do you have one? How do you like it?

Better yet - anyone know why they're not taking orders as of now?

I ordered mine... early in June. I was 25th in the production line, so I'm assuming that they're rather backed up. Especially with the new release in the works. They seem to be really popular in the Trans community. I requested an early August completion date, but the wait is 8-10 weeks. Which falls in late August (problem there haha, I hadn't really planned to by a new thing until next year but mine is on its last leg), but I can't say much for the product until then. Sorry! I do not think anyone actually has one here yet, most were waiting for a smaller version to be released.

This.  I emailed them a couple days ago and they said:

QuoteThe Medical Prosthetics should be available for sale again sometime soon...most likely within the next 1-2 weeks.  We have received an unusually high number of orders and to avoid delays we had to put a temporary hold on purchasing so that we can catch up.

I'm really looking forward to purchasing the smaller prosthetic.  Right now I'm having a dilemma about it though..When it becomes available, I'll have to decide but for now, I'm just going to research, research, research.

Thanks for the heads up. If you don't mind me asking, which model did you order? I'm going to be using mine more for play, then packing..so I'm thinking the 6'.

I ordered the 6' as well. The one I use now is actually an Australian make that is 7' hahaha. XD It's quite large, but I've gotten used to how to work with it, pack it, and people don't really take notice. It gets a little awkward at times. The Reelmagick actually looks like it packs better then the one I have. The one I have is a lot harder in texture, looks real for the most part, but the way you need to pack with a big one (as I use them for pack and play, because I dislike the idea of changing into different things, brings on a whole new level of dysphoria) is a sort of tucking. This one looks like it blends better, and is less likely to do what mine did, pull away from the skin tab completely.

I've seen that review as well, by him. It's actually what finally prompt me to get it. He seemed satisfied, it's priced a LOT better then the one I have none, and he even said it works well for play. But I do agree, the tip does look odd. But when you consider every man's tip tends to be different the next, I can deal with that.
