I've searched all around Susan's. All I keep finding is people saying that "in theory", Nd:YAG lasers are the best bet for people with these skin types. But is there anyone here with Fitzpatrick V or VI skin who's actually tried it? How has it worked out for you? Were there any red flags you noticed with some places?

I'm a Fitzpatrick V, myself. I'm interested in laser, but I don't want to be some tech's experiment. Locally, I've seen tons of places with claiming to treat "all skin types" with a diode  ??? or alexandrite :o laser. The lack of real world data leaves me more than a little nervous about the prospect.
