Am I prepared to give up everything in order to transition?

There seemed to be a lot of people out there who recently subscribed/messaged me/put in relevant search hits concerning how their life could change negatively if they did transition.... So it got me thinking about my own personal situation.

The one piece of advice that those who have transitioned seem to always give is be prepared to give up everything in order to transition. And they are right. Some people transition relatively smoothly. Others lose everything. Their family, their job, their friends, everything.
