Hi! My name is Robyn. I'm a middle-aged (read: older than 50 and less than 65) woman who is blessed to be married to my Princess Charming...who agreed to marry me before I began my transition.

I've been on hormones for a little under 2 years, and am (as I suspect most of us are) non-surgical (financial reasons).

A friend on Facebook suggested I visit here, and I decided to join...mostly so I can entertain you all with my quick wit, fast repartee, and smart-a** comments. I look forward to greeting to know you through the fora (yeah: I also know the difference between datum and data, and martina and martini).

Hi Robyn, welcome to Susan's, take a foray round the fora, if you will :).

Hello Robyn,
Welcome to Susan's.
We can sure use more witty on the forums. ;)
I'm older than 50 and less than 65 too.  ;)
Glad to have another mature person aboard.
:)

Yes, a foray around the fora would be "good form" (as Peter Pan would say).

Jillieann,

Thank you so much for the welcome! And I appreciate your use of the euphemism "mature person." It is nice and polite--although I tend to think of myself as "an old broad" a lot of the time. ANd my wife, who is 24 years younger than I am, never tires of reminding me of that fact.

Still, I do get back at her by referring to her as my child bride. lol

Hi Robyn

Welcome and nice to meet you.
This said from another old broad in the same range of age.
I like people with sense of humor so, i think we're gonna have a good time with you.
Make yourself at home and i'm looking forward to your futureposts.

Hugs
Annette

Well if I was talking about myself Robyn.
I would be using the nice and polite "old lady" ;)

My wife is younger than me also and never lets me forget it.
:D

Nice to welcome another "lady of a certain age", as they used to say!
Remember, as writer Kathy Lette said, "you are only young once, but you can be immature at any age!"
